Amazing hotel!! Check in was easy and the concierge was very friendly. The hotel has a beautiful terrace and a gym and sauna. Our room was great. Overall great stay!

Room has nice view of the city. The all glass shower and toilet is very nice and clean. Breakfast buffet is also great. They have 2 coffee machines. Place is walking distance to the mall.

Hotel Porta Fira is called hoteles santos. A nice hotel in the commercial district of Barcelona, adjacent to all places an ikea. It is near the gran via 2 shopping center, which has good food options and a carrefour for water and souvenirs need. The hotel itself is circular shaped, as when you exit the elevator, the rooms are oriented in a circle. There are no pool, which is a bummer since we were there during the hot heatwave of summer 2022. The breakfast buffet is excellent and enjoyable, offering a Spanish flavor as well as a continental taste. Housekeeping was awesome and prompt daily and super fast. My four stars is based several issues I have with the room. The shower consistently leaked water to the outside do the architectural setup of the shower. Whoever laid the shower floors with running outer edges for water to channel and flow outside, should be fired. 2. The closet setup intended for a noveau look, just failed in storage and functionality. 3. At least our room, needs more of a deep clean. Overall, for a location within Europa place and 3 minutes walk to the subway, I take the good over the minor bad and recommend the staying there

Cancelled flight turned into quite a nice experience. We got a nice Family Room with all the amenities we needed. Very close to a mall with all kinds of restaurant choices. Will definitely be back!

This review is strictly based on the aesthetics and location of this hotel. The architectural design is so modern and unusual with bright colors that are absolutely captivating! You cannot help but notice this hotel standing out among the surrounding buildings in the area. The hotel is conveniently located near the Metro and is approximately a few blocks away from the convention center so quite walkable IMO. The only thing I would say is that you may have to walk a little farther out or hop in a short taxi ride to access a wider variety of restaurants nearby.

We stopped here and stayed the night for a bus tour that we were taking across Europe. The power in our room went off and fried both of our international chargers. The hotel would not help us get another charger to replace the two that were ruined. We still have 15 days here with no way to charge any of our devices on our trip. We're hoping that one of the stops along the way will have some chargers. The fact that hotels don't have international chargers for events with international travelers seems like a huge miss.

Hotel Porta Fira is a beautiful tall hotel in the middle of a busy roundabout. This hotel is probably the tallest hotel surrounding that area. But definitely beautiful and outstanding. The place is very up to date, with a beautiful bar on the first level with a restaurant behind it. The bathroom in the lobby is really warm and toasty, which was the nice because the day I checked in, it was pouring rain. Check in is at 3pm, however; my arrival was at 10am coming from a week long trip on a cruise around Europe which I was sick on. The person at the front desk didn't have any rooms available yet, but had the maids clean a room right away for us so that we could check in. This I appreciated a lot. We ordered room service, which is quite pricey on the both nights that we stayed. However, they messed up on two of the orders; and the person answering the phone was quite rude. My stepdad ordered as he spoke Spanish, but the guy on the line was still really rude and disrespectful to him and it was unappreciated. Instead of taking back the food they messed up on, they charged us for the new dishes that they cooked, and refused to take off the other dishes. This is where they lost two stars. The room was nice and clean. If you're traveling, please make sure you have a universal adapter because they do not have the accommodation for other outlets. They do offer slippers, robs, and other nice touches to the hotel room. The view is definitely beautiful when looking out the window. You definitely pay for the view.

Booked this hotel for one night since it was closer to the BCN airport. Our flight changed to an earlier date due to unforeseen events and was unable to manage the checkin date. Apparently, since the rate we booked was a "special rate", we could not modify the date and canceling results in a 0% refund. The representative from the hotel said we were SOL and offered no help at all. We basically had to eat the cost of the one night stay and book another hotel for the new date. If you are looking for a place to stay for a layover/short stay, I'd recommend finding elsewhere. Anything can happen to your flights when traveling so best not to choose a place that has "special rates" which cannot be refunded or modified.

I stayed at this hotel in May of this year and I was thoroughly happy with our choice. The hotel is clean and modern, and the staff is excellent. They provide guests with free wifi. It is centrally located in the hospitalet area of Barcelona. There is an Ikea and a metro station within 5 minutes walking distance. It takes about 30 minutes to get to the city center, but for the price and caliber of hotel we thought it was worth it.

The major complaint you will have with this hotel, aside from the fact that it looks like an inverted thighbone dusted with red mud and standing alone in an industrial park in the shadow of an equally giant IKEA that runs horizontal, is the corny music that's playing loudly in the lobby when you walk in. It's really deafening. Seriously. and it's really a noxious sound. It kind of gets into your skull and drives you slightly batty. But the hotel itself is clean and modern and the front desk is polite and attentive. The rooms are surprisingly quite spacious. There's lots of frosted glass and I suspect that everything in the hotel will break down and need replacing in 7 to 9 years or less but that will be long after I've checked out.
