The hotel itself is nice, but the staff left much to be desired. During check-in, my partner and I (we are two men) kindly asked if there was space available for parking. The response was a curt “no.” I then inquired if there might be availability over the next two days, and the reply was simply, “We are fully booked.” While I understand that availability can be limited, the tone felt unnecessarily dismissive and unfriendly.

We were assigned Room 104, which is close to the street. I politely asked if it might be possible to have a quieter room, as I am noise-sensitive. Again, the response was abrupt and unaccommodating, leaving me with the impression that guest comfort wasn’t a priority. I couldn’t help but feel there was a lack of warmth or willingness to assist us during these interactions.

Unfortunately, my concerns about the noise proved valid. The room was noisy, and I could hear traffic from the street throughout the night. I struggled to sleep, which affected my overall experience. While I understand not every request can be met, a little empathy or effort to find a solution would have made a significant difference.

Would I book this hotel again? Unfortunately, no. Would I recommend it? Also, no. While the facilities were fine, the unwelcoming attitude of the staff left a lasting negative impression, and I couldn’t help but feel that we were not treated with the same respect or courtesy as other guests.

The expectations staying at this hotel were big, based on the excellent reviews I read. I have to say, these reviews were accurate! The theme and aesthetic of Zinema7 were amazing and unique. The service from everyone was incredible and friendly. The extra care they give you makes the experience soo much better. The location is good, not too far from the city centre, but easily to commute with public transport. Also, they can accommodate celiacs at breakfast. Highly recommended, if the opportunity to stay here again arises, I will definitely be returning!!

Stayed here with 2 kids. We had adjoining rooms which were really comfortable and a good size. About a 30 minute walk to the heart of the old town. Didn’t have breakfast as part of our stay, but the hotel has a separate public cafe which was great value for breakfast.

Great value for money - welcome drink on arrival for loyalty members (free registration on their website) and rooms have everything you need and location is  about a 15 minute walk to the beach/main attractions. Not a huge breakfast menu, but good for eggs, yoghurt, orange juice. Very friendly staff tips the scales for this hotel!

Hotel, rooms and service are all excellent. Our room was clean, and quiet.

The staff at the bar were nice, we enjoyed grabbing drinks from the bar and bringing them to the hotel lounge to a relaxed, comfortable space.

We walked from the hotel to everywhere, old town, the beach, train station, etc... but the distance might be a long walk for some. The hotel is on a major bus route, so it would be easy and convenient to hop on the city bus to save the legs if needed.
