Nous Bistro, d.v.s före detta ”Härlig Pasta” har fått ett nytt koncept, mycket mer i min smak. Lite ”storstads”-känsla, lite avslappnad,”slick” atmosfär. Maten (en vanlig lunch en måndag, dagens rätt) var verkligen god, vällagade och riklig. Rekommenderas!

Nous Bistro, i.e. the former "Delicious Pasta" has got a new concept, much more to my taste. A bit of a "big city" feeling, a bit of a relaxed, "slick" atmosphere. The food (a regular lunch on a Monday, the dish of the day) was really good, well prepared and plentiful. Recommended!

De tog med det bästa från GIN men gjorde det mer hemtrevligt. Vi satt i källaren, men det kändes inte instängt. Lampor längst väggarna fick det att kännas som fönster.
Ljuddämpande miljö gjorde det behagligt trots att det var fullsatt med folk, rätt trångt mellan borden och musik. Bra DJ med lagom hög musik.

Maten var väldigt god, gösen hade lite väl många olika smaker - men vi var väldigt nöjda totalt. Det var stora portioner på både råbiffen vi tog till förrätt och varmrätterna. Det tog dock ett tag att få varmrätten när det var fullt med folk.

Mycket bra alkoholfria drinkar, fråga om den röda i olika lager (yutzu, jordgubb och lingon) - så god!

Sista jag vill nämna är att de var mycket trevlig service från alla, servitör, servitris och även bartender som berättar vad som serveras.

They brought the best of GIN but made it more homely. We sat in the basement, but it didn't feel cramped. Lamps along the walls made it feel like windows.
Sound-deadening environment made it pleasant even though it was packed with people, quite cramped between the tables and music. Good DJ with moderately loud music.

The food was very good, the pike perch had quite a few different flavors - but we were very satisfied overall. There were large portions of both the raw steak we had for starters and the main courses. However, it took a while to get the main course when it was full of people.

Very good non-alcoholic drinks, ask for the red in different layers (yutzu, strawberry and lingonberry) - so good!

Last thing I want to mention is that they were very nice service from everyone, waiter, waitress and also bartender who explains what is served.

Snygg restaurang som man trivs bra i! Maten är bra och god men inget att minnas allt för länge. Men kompositionen kan ifrågasättas. Min tartar med friterad lök är, just det, mest lök. Det är konstigt att komponera en tartar där huvudsaken är friterad lök och det är minst sagt synd om köttet som dränks i lök. Varför inte låta huvudingrediensen skina? Varmrätten rotselleri med morötter och potatis är grymt bra! Bra tydliga smaker. Efterrätten creme brûlée tycker jag är sådär, var var vaniljen?!
Mest av allt så blir jag otroligt besviken på servicen. Den är seg! 20 minuter från bordsättning till beställning, 20 min (!!) efter att vi ätit klart huvudrätten till frågan kommer om vi vill ha dessert. Efter desserten finns INGEN som kommer och undrar hur det var, om vi vill ha något mer, om vi vill betala. Det är otroligt dåligt. En stor del av att gå på restaurang är just servicen. Under vår kväll hade vi dessutom tre olika servitörer varav en var kort och snäsig i tonen, det gör inte upplevelsen bättre.
Sammanfattning: god men ojämn mat, seg och opersonlig service och låååång väntetid på att faktiskt få service.

Stylish restaurant that you feel good in! The food is good and tasty but nothing to remember for too long. But the composition can be questioned. My tartar with fried onions is, just that, mostly onions. It's strange to compose a tartar where the main thing is fried onions and it's a shame to say the least about the meat drowning in onions. Why not let the main ingredient shine? The hot dish celeriac with carrots and potatoes is really good! Good clear flavors. I think the creme brûlée dessert is so-so, where was the vanilla?!
Most of all, I am incredibly disappointed with the service. It is tough! 20 minutes from sitting at the table to ordering, 20 minutes (!!) after we have finished eating the main course the question comes if we want dessert. After dessert, NO ONE comes and asks how it was, if we want something more, if we want to pay. It's incredibly bad. A big part of going to a restaurant is precisely the service. During our evening we also had three different waiters, one of whom was short and snide in tone, that does not make the experience any better.
Summary: good but uneven food, tough and impersonal service and a very long wait to actually get service.

God, dyr mat. Snoffsigt ställe. Lite snålt när man betalar 160 kr för en dagens att det inte ingår kaffe med kaka som på många andra ställen, vatten till maten ingår- ingen läsk.

Good, expensive food. Sniffy place. A bit stingy when you pay SEK 160 for a day that it does not include coffee and cake like in many other places, water with the food is included - no soda.

Vi var på Nous förra helgen och wow vilken restaurang! Allt från bemötandet, lokalen, drinkarna och maten - riktigt bra. Vi beställde olika rätter och var supernöjda med allt, generösa portioner och rimliga priser. Hoppas att kvaliteten håller i längden, då kommer ni få många kunder!

We ordered different dishes and were super happy with everything, generous portions and reasonable prices. Hope the quality lasts in the long run, then you will have many customers!
