Food:
Ox cheek croquettes while we waited were delicious. Full of flavour with a fantastic sauce and FRESH veg garnish.

I ordered the off menu Ribeye (med rare) special with redwine and blue cheese sauce. The steak was HEAVENLY, my eyes rolled. The sauce was incredible.

My brother in law had the fillet with garlic butter amd chips. Quote of his meal was "they are just chips, how are they that good"

I ordered the corn brulee, which is prepared at your table side. The whole experience was amazing as was the taste.

All very friendly, polite, attentive, efficient and professional.

10/10 experience can't wait to visit Edinburgh again.

My girlfriend and I visited Kyloe for my birthday and we had an amazing experience from start to finish.  Everything was perfect - the food was absolutely delicious and we couldn’t fault a single thing. The staff were warm, attentive, and made us feel welcome without being overbearing. The atmosphere was fantastic and the steak was hands down the best we’ve had in Edinburgh. We’ll definitely be returning!

I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. We visited on a Sunday and were delighted to try their Sunday roast. The quality of the ingredients was immediately apparent—everything was fresh, and cooked to perfection. The steak was tender and juicy, complemented beautifully by the rich sides.

What truly set this restaurant apart, however, was the staff. They were incredibly helpful and always greeted us with a warm smile, making us feel right at home. Their attentive service ensured that our dining experience was smooth and enjoyable.

A lovely steak restaurant with great service. The staff a very knowledgeable.  You are presented with a visual on the type of cuts offered and the options on the menu for it.
We wanted a nice light red wine to go with steaks and left it up to the waiter to choose and it was delicious.
Would definitely recommend going here if you love steak.

Drinks are nice and food are good. Place was busy especially it was around Christmas period thus table service was not that satisfied. It was long queue even for people who had reservation, might because of busy season.

Underbar Service och en fantastisk måltid. Jag kom in som ensamätare för att äta en sista måltid på en resa till Skottland. Personalen var lyhörd och såg till att upplevelsen var positiv. Från haggisbitar till perfekt tillagad biff, till avslutningen med en läcker öken parad med whisky, det var en fantastisk upplevelse.

Vi var tvungna att skicka tillbaka biff eftersom det var kallt. Sedan var det andra försöket rått... inte medium sällsynt som begärt! Vi blev förödmjukade. Inte en trevlig upplevelse! Härliga servitörer, Service, vin etc, men de har gått vilse i grunderna... . , vilket är god mat väl tillagad. För dyrt för dålig kvalitet. Går inte tillbaka

Kyloe är en utmärkt restaurang - maten är exceptionell (vi båda hade den lagrade filé som var välsmakande och tillagad till perfektion) , och vår server, David, var mycket professionell som han rekommenderade elnätet samt vinet. Hans urval var perfekt.

Besökte nyligen och hade en blandad upplevelse - några riktigt bra stunder, men också några låt - nedgångar för dem som ser Edinburgh. Plus: • David, vår server, var fantastisk – rolig och bra med vinrekommendationer. • Kött display i början var till stor hjälp för oss. • Fantastisk utsikt över Edinburgh (huvudstaden) från vårt bord. Minus: • Förrätter var små portioner och mycket dyrt. (Vi nämnde detta för vår server) • Kött, även om det var välsmakande, serverades lite kallt. • Desserterna var dåliga, med begränsat utbud, och kladdig kolapudding var inte tillgänglig trots att du frågade. • Borden var ganska mörka – kanske trevligt för stämningen, men opraktiskt när vi hade diskussioner. Erbjöd mer ljus/ljus men detta hjälpte inte. • Restaurangen blev mycket upptagen, även på en vardag, så även med bra Service, var det svårt att få uppmärksamhet. Biffar är ok men något för dyrt. Medföljande mat och såser är goda och smakrika. Vissa anställda är mycket bra men andra inklusive de ansvariga har en mycket dålig inställning till kunder. Restaurangen blir mycket upptagen och det finns en brist på ledarskap vilket gör Servicen frenetisk.

Jag är på besök från USA och ville smaka på skotskt nötkött. Jag har ätit filén. Köttet var super mört och mycket välsmakande. Personalen var mycket hjälpsam och vänlig. Särskilt David som var söt och mycket bra på att ge råd. Jag är bara ledsen att min man inte var med mig. Jag kommer tillbaka med familjen!

Söndagslunchen här var lika utmärkt som sist jag var här för ett år sedan. Mycket vänlig och hjälpsam personal, som gjorde upplevelsen exceptionell.

Vi rekommenderar platsen inte bara för maten utan för hela upplevelsen! Bra kött, bra service. Vår servitör David var bedårande.

Denna restaurang var fantastisk med vacker utsikt och en stor atmosfär och rimliga priser. Exklusiv varm och god mat och dryck. Men vad som stack ut var service och meny rekommendationer. Specifikt vår server David slog ut den ur parken! Han gick oss igenom menyn och alternativ som bara en erfaren server kan göra. En stor representant för denna restaurang och en sann Edinburgh ambassadör. Du måste prova majs brulee och morötter som sidor. Bra biff urval. Min fru och jag kommer definitivt tillbaka. Haft en underbar kväll på Kyloe! Stämningen var livlig men ändå mysig, och personalen fick oss att känna sig som hemma. Maten sprudlade av smak, varje tugga var en fröjd. Kan inte vänta med att gå tillbaka!

Denna restaurang rekommenderades till oss och även om maten var enastående servicen var inte så bra, vi väntade nästan en halvtimme på våra drinkar som bara var en gin & tonic och en öl så inte rocket science, maten var fantastisk och skulle rekommendera det på grund av det men det är definitivt en restaurang för speciella tillfällen eftersom det är på den dyra sidan.

Vi besökte Kyloe i Edinburgh på en hektisk lördag kväll, och det stod klart från början varför bokning i förväg är viktigt. Restaurangen var full, vilket skapade en livlig och välkomnande atmosfär. Trots hur hektiskt det var, var servicen utmärkt från början till slut. Vår servitör tog sig tid att förklara de olika styckningsdelarna av biff, vilket hjälpte oss att göra rätt val, och gav oss till och med ett urval av biffknivar – något du inte ofta ser men en riktigt trevlig touch. När maten kom tillagades alla fyra biffarna till absolut perfektion. Kvaliteten på köttet var enastående, och allt var precis som vi hade hoppats på. Om du är en biffälskare är Kyloe ett måste - besök. Vi skulle definitivt rekommendera det och ser fram emot att återvända.
