I attended a wedding here, where the ceremony was outdoors in the courtyard and the reception was inside in one of the many banquet halls. The spaces were both beautiful venues for the occasion, and the food was of good quality for both the meals, the drinks, and the desserts and snacks provided at the end of the night.

We came here for a wedding were impressed by how organized everything was. They have couple of venues for gatherings, wedding receptions and even outdoor weddings (in summertime). The parking is a bit tricky; if there are multiple event happening at the same time, there won't be enough spots available. The bar was great with good options and it's open until 1am. The hors d'oeuvre table had good variety of cheese, deli and salad. Dinner, late night snacks and dessert table were pretty good, too.

So I attended another wedding here recently (5th one of the year lol). This time both the ceremony AND reception were hosted here. The previous wedding, it was just for the reception and held in the Queen Victoria room. This wedding was held in the classic ballroom which I think is their largest room (to be fair, this wedding had around 300 guests). I think there were so many guests, that there in fact not enough chairs to seat everyone at the back during the ceremony! Anyways, for the reception, this time the reception food was italian themed so instead of the typical hors d'oevures, there were actual cocktail hour stations with assorted antipasti (italian appetizers) consisting of cheeses, charcuterie, hot and cold items. Instead of a multi-course chinese dinner, it was 4 courses (primo, secondo, entree and dessert). The first course was risotto, the second course was a stuffed pasta, the entree was beef and chicken w/ green beans and fingerling potatoes and dessert was gelato. The dinner food was actually really good! I had mixed feelings about the cocktail hour stations (a lot of the stations I wasn't really too keen about aside from the steamed tomato sauce mussels; those were bomb). The beef in the entrees was a overcooked unfortunately but the chicken roulade was moist and wonderfully seasoned. Dessert was good, couldn't really taste the affogato at all. Rather, it tasted more like a butterscotch gelato LOL. The late night bar was fantastic as usual. Probably the best late night bar selections out of all the venues I've been to. A massive spread of french and italian pastries, fruit and in-house treats. Paradise is just a very solid venue for weddings!

I had attended this venue a few times over the course of the years and usually the service/staff are friendly/cheerful/positive energy and typically very outgoing and are great with people. I had recently attended a wedding for a very close friend of mine, it was a very intimate wedding compared to the other ones that I had gone to. My friends and I decided to grab a few drinks at the bar, there was only one bartender staffed in our hall due to our party size. Which is fine. Our first visit to the bar, there was no one there. We ordered our drinks and thought nothing of it. The bartender did not have any type of reaction either positive or negative. The second time around we had went up to grab a round of shots. This time, we were greeted by "sighs" and a bartender that did not look like she wanted to be present at all. We had asked for shots of tequila, and also chilled vodka. When we asked for chilled vodka, the bartender rolled her eyes at me and did not want to put in the extra effort to chill the vodka at all. She had completed the drink as if she was doing us a favor. I was under the impression that this was just treatment towards myself, however each time we had gone up to grab drinks, you can tell the energy from the bartender was definitely she did not want to be there. I had talked with other guests and there was consensus among us that the bartender really did not want to be there and her energy she was giving off was very negative. The other guests also agreed that they were not pleased with the way the bartender was acting, she appeared to have an attitude each time we would order drinks. At the end of the night, when we were closing up shop and the dance floor the bartender had walked by a handful of the guests and you could hear her mumbling under her breath, "relax guys". There was then a dispute that arose between another vendor and the bar staff. At the end of the day, it's up to the venue to hire staff that would make the night enjoyable for guests, especially the bride and groom, the night should be of celebration and not of misery, which is what this bartender was providing instead of exceptional service and a friendly attitude. The other wait staff/servers were very friendly, however with all the positives that could have come out of the evening we ended the night off with this experience that left a foul taste in our mouths. I know our bride and groom had a great time, not because of the bartender, but because the rest of the crew were able to hold their own and celebrate the couple and not let their own misery bleed onto someone else's special day.

Recently came here for a small wedding of about 130 guests last weekend. The weather in May was perfect, so the ceremony was held outdoors in a private area on site - Gardens of Paradise Banquet Hall. It was very nice and serene atmosphere, with white Roman columns and green grass as the backdrop. It felt very intimate and sacred :) After that we had Cocktail hour with Antipasto stations set up inside the wedding reception banquet hall. I have to say, the set up was very impressive with a great variety of delicious food to choose from, especially the cheeses! As for the appetizers, I had the Rose Manicotti and Risotto Ai Fungi. Both were very tasty! As for the main, I was not so impressed with the Braised Short Ribs, it was a bit on the dryer side. Some guests changed their choice to Braised Short Ribs last minute (why?), so a lot of people ended up having Chicken instead. Those guests were then offered a small piece of steak as compensation. Really appreciate the manager/staff at Paradise for handling this situation. I guess shit happens, but shame on those who changed last minute. Desserts came along and I stared at it for a while - Gelato Affogato. Where is the espresso? lol. My understanding of affogato is ice cream topped with a shot of espresso. I saw an espresso bean but that's about it. Not too happy about this one. Fortunately, the dessert table and the late night snack stations outside in the foyer saved the night. The funnel fries with ice cream and sauce were SO GOOD. Overall 3.5 stars, but I rounded up to 4 stars because I did enjoy the evening despite the miss on the main course. I'd recommend this venue for small cozy weddings.

Nice space, and the room rented for the wedding I attending was perfect for the 100 or so guests. The decor is fairly modern and there was quite a bit of lighting which changed throughout the evening. Very happy with the service as staff were plentiful, friendly and attentive. The overhead speakers had great sound with a surprisingly good level of bass. Most of the food was a success. Loved the soup appetizer and the pasta was cooked perfectly and served in a rose sauce. For the main, the beef on the shank was cooked perfectly by being pull-apart tender and very well marinated. Veggies were good and the only real miss was the polenta which was fairly bland. Everything seemed go run smoothly. I enjoyed my time and I'm sure the wedding couple were happy with the venue.

I came to an event at Paradise Banquet Hall and it was out of this world. The employees went out of their way to ensure the event was a huge success. I am both lactose and gluten intolerant. The employees came over to ensure I received my lactose and gluten free entrée. When dessert was served, the waiter came running over with a lactose free sorbet for myself and he rushed away the brownie a la mode that everyone else received. The service was phenomenal and the venue was perfect. Everything looked very elegant. I would definitely recommend this hall for any event. They also had lots of places where a bridal party could do photos. :) The food was also delicious!!!

This banquet hall has been around for ages. It was updated a few years ago with new ceilings, floors and lately gaudy LED lighting. Despite all this it remains a 2nd tier hall compared to some of the totally redone halls in the Vaughan area. The service and food is OK and the parking could be better as the main parking out front is very small and is always full. The place is very busy and can be attributed to the mid range clients they cater to (which is not a bad thing as not everyone can afford to spend $120+ for a wedding banquet dinner for their guests)

WOW what a place. I recently attended a Wedding here and was very happy to be at this hall. Interior was nice and the staff was excellent.

Attended for an event and the place was decent but for the following. 1. The curtain wall between the two halves of the Banquet room may as well have been made out of paper. The music next door was overwhelming our event. The sound insulation is poor. 2. Bathrooms are small and shared between rooms. Not enough for two events happening at the same time 3. Pre-function space is VERY poorly designed. It's long and narrow with a bar at one end, very hard to get to it. 4. Parking is lousy and if the front lot (which is very small) is full, they you have a long trek around the whole building to get to the door. I'm particularly put off by this one, as simply having a back door to the "overflow" parking lot would be a must have as far as I'm concerned. Imagine trekking almost 1/8 of a mile in your finest outfit in the snow and slush. Not smart at all The actual divided ballroom we were in was nicely equipped with modern lighting and a good sized dance floor. My advice, plan your event carefully if you have to use the pre-function space outside of the ballrooms, it's a poor layout and the washrooms are shared between rooms. Parking is a very poor setup as well. On the plus side, the food was very good, even if this event was served buffet style... Staff were very nice.
