David was an exceptionally knowledgeable guide. The tour was a nice balance of indoors and outdoors, and going during the Christmas market meant access to the Winter Village. The history was fascinating and it was great to learn more about this part of Toronto’s past.

We loved the experience! The guides were very friendly and took their time to teach us how to use the Segway properly. Also, they told us some interesting facts about the Distillery District that we did not know. Was worried about falling from the Segway but it was very easy to drive once you got the hang of it. The weather was perfect and overall was really fun.

Nicole was our guide for the morning breakfast tour and was just FANTASTIC! Super knowledgeable about the history of every part of the distillery district and gave us great recommendations to check out. Would rate 10 stars if we could! We were underprepared for the weather and Nicole was adaptable, moved indoors most of the time without affecting the tour -  Thank you so much Nicole!

Did the walking tour which was a cool way to get a pretty in-depth history about the Distillery District in only an hour! My tour guide, Devin, was very passionate and knowledgeable about Toronto, and an engaging storyteller. He had answers to everyone’s questions throughout the tour. Would recommend this tour to anyone visiting Toronto! Be sure to grab some food somewhere in the Distillery District before or after the tour!

I definitely recommend the Go Tours Canada: Ontario Place Segway Tour. Our group had an amazing time during the 1 hour Ontario Place Segway tour.  Our tour guide Erik was very knowledgeable, and shared many facts about Ontario Place, and some interesting tidbits about Canadian History. Erik is so cheerful and exudes so much energy... thanks to him, our private tour was not only informative, but also very entertaining!  Kudos on a job well done Erik! A big Thank you for the memorable experience you provided me and my family!

We took the Toronto Distillery Walking Tour. Our guide Nicole was outstanding. Knowledgeable and happy to answer questions. Great sense of humor and very engaging. Lovesick her town and this area. A fascinating history of a now reclaimed district near Lake Ontario.

We had been to the distillery district a few years back and thought it was really cool. When I saw there was a walking tour explaining the history of it we booked it for our most recent trip and I'm so glad we did. The tour is about an hour which is the perfect amount of time for this area as it isn't huge. We had 4 other people with us so it was a pretty small tour. Our guide Caeli was great. She was enthusiastic and really had a passion for the city and it's history. She was half the fun of the tour. We learned a lot in a small amount of time. The tour ended with a couple of samples of chocolate from SOMA, which were incredible and led to us going back and purchasing some chocolates. There were also some beer samples included, and while we could have walked in and got samples on our own it was fun to do it with the group and to have Caeli's commentary while we sampled some of the different offerings. I would highly recommend the tour for anyone who is interested in history.

I did the one hour segway tour and really enjoyed it! A tour guide led my group through the entire distillery district. Our guide was Erik Bell, and he was very knowledgeable, funny, and captivating. The tour also included a chocolate tasting and a beer tasting. Overall, a fun and interesting experience that I'd definitely recommend.

Okay, so when my wife got this Groupon for our family to do this tour I thought it would be touristy and hokey. Erik Bell, our tour guide, proved me wrong even before the tour began. He warmed himself up with an animated juggling act. He hit the ground running. And when I say, running, I mean sprinting his way through the most entertaining and educational tour of the Distillery District anyone could imagine. We wound our way through 200 years of Toronto's lively history with high energy, reliable history, and humorous puns. Even the staff of the Grounds were stopped in their tracks when we paused for edification. He commanded a 20 yard (sorry. 30 meter) presence throughout. Do this tour!

This was our favorite part of our visit to Toronto! Nicole was a fun guide, and riding a Segway was an absolute BLAST! Now, every vacation will include looking for Segway tours. This activity is worth the money!

It was my boyfriend's birthday yesterday and I didn't want to go with the usual options. That's boring. So what about an experience? What about a WINTER SEGUAY TOUR OF THE DISTILLERY DISTRICT? It was a surprise, it was freezing and it was sososo much fun. They're not open on Mondays but get in touch with them early and anything is possible. We walked in and our guide was waiting for us with a smile and seguays aplenty. We signed wavers, got fitted in our helmets (pink for me, just cause), and soon enough we were outside learning how to use these things. Boyfriend was a natural; I was more apt at going backward then forwards but after a little, guided roll around the area I could handle it. Since we were the only people on this particular tour, it could be specialized. Did we want more riding around or more history? Anywho, we wanted it all and that's what we got. We rolled around and got many hilarious looks but no one was hatin'. It kind of made me want to bust out some speakers and play "Ridin' Dirty" by Chamillionaire. Bring warms socks, gloves, scarf and hat! Luckily, since this was a custom-made trip, we had the luxury of deciding when we wanted our Soma hot chocolate break- which comes included in the package. Safe to say, the Mayan hot chocolate was just what we needed to brave some more cold. But we didn't even have to yet! We went just across the road to Mill Street Brewery and tried samples of various beers, all with some knowledgeable staff and having a great time. We learnt so much! Our guide that whole time was fun, smart and outgoing. He made jokes along the way, made me feel comfortable during this vulnerable time and was happy to share some secrets of Toronto's "dirty" past. I highly, highly suggest it. Don't be lame, surprise your loved one with a gift that keeps on giving for a whole hour.

So much fun! This is my second time using Go Tours and it was fantastic. The first tour I did was a few years ago. Husband and I did a staycation in Toronto and decided a historical tour of Distillery District would be a blast. It was lots of fun and we discovered so many things we did not know. To learn new things about your city is pretty cool! Yesterday I had a day off and nothing to do so I decided to try a Segway experience. IT WAS AMAZING! As someone who is accident prone I was 90% sure I would break all the bones in my body but it was super intuitive and exciting. I would highly recommend it! So.MUCH.FUN.

In the spirit of Halloween and maybe with the spirit of it's owner with us we experienced the SEGWAY Distillery Ghost Tour(35min/$49.00). We chose 6 pm tour which would have been better atmosphere if it was a darker scene, so I suggest taking the 7 pm tour and bundle up as needed. Put on your Boarder Helmet and begin training which literally takes 2 minutes and if you're a natural Snowboarder then even less as it has similar motion. The Segways were speed-limited for this private area of the Distillery District but was still good speedy FUN for first timers. For sure you can rundown a few Pedestrians, but I wouldn't start jumping rails(read tip below). The Ghost Tour is a good experience especially for first time visitors of the Distillery District whom at the same time want to learn some History of the buildings with a side of Haunted tales of sightings. I won't disclose anymore, it's for you to discover and for the Tour Guide to share. TIP: Make sure you READ the Waiver before you sign your life away as this ain't no Yoga Waiver. You might actually be signing away your bonus for a few years as any signifcant damages to your ride you might be responsible for.

My girlfriend and I have always wanted to take a segway tour so when we went to visit Toronto we decided to try out Segway of Ontario. The tours don't seem very popular when it's 35 degress Fahrenheit outside as we were the only two there. It actually turned out quite nice though as we had a personal tour of the distillery district. The tour guide was very nice and knowledgeable. He spent the first 10 minutes giving us a tutorial on how to use the segway. The next 50 minutes were spent touring and also tasting some of the local samples of beer and chocolate. Both my girlfriend and I had a lot of fun even though it was cold. The only complaint I have is the price. It was around $60 canadian per person which can get a bit pricey if you have a large group. Overall still a very good experience.
