This is the 1st time I used ParkBus but it won't be the last. The company provides transporatation to parks in Ontario from Yonge & Bloor in Toronto. I went with a friend to Elora Quarry for a morning at the beach and then to the town of Elora in the afternoon. The bus 'ambassador' checked that we had pre-booked before we could board the school bus. It left on time and arrived at our destination on time. It was well organized with sufficient time at the small but unique beach and in town. We saw the Elora Falls, Elora Gorge, Victoria Park and the pretty town of Elora. We even had time to get something to eat. The ParkBus website provided all the relevant info to prepare for our day trip and know what to expect. The fee was reasonable and they have a discount for people over 60.

Terrible, joke of a company - ParkBus -didn't tell us we would be taking a school bus until the last minute - so no air conditioning for 4 hours transport on a 30 degree day - genius -I would never personally book a trip if I knew it was on a school bus so this is bait and switch deception - I was literally thrown into the air off my seat dozens of times on the highway - this is transportation intended for short distance only and NOT the highway -proceeded to jam pack said school bus - there was one seat left on the whole bus and apparently there were several people who missed the bus - I interpret this as overbooking, so we can add overbooking to the list of offences committed by ParkBus -it proceeded to rain, which would be fine, except all the school bus windows were open thanks to no air conditioning so imagine getting hit with rain in the face going down the highway on a rickety old school bus - what the actual F - Mexico has better excursions and that's a third world country - absolutely ridiculous and embarrassing -didn't tell us there would be swimming, so didn't bring a swim suit -changed the locations on us - ended up going to a different farm than advertised, pizza options were changed so no 'highly recommended salami and honey pizza', also lemonade was not fresh as advertised -didn't leave on time -so, book ParkBus if you want to be screwed around, lied to, and moreover misled, disappointed, and ripped off Shameful.

The guide was great and very knowledgeable and helpful. Unfortunately, because the school bus driver to Elora Gorge did not use any app like Waze initially on the way from Toronto to Elora, we ended up losing time by getting lost. Instead of heading straight to Elora, we went through the city of Guelph, then to Kitchener and then to Waterloo airport before the driver was told to turn back. Since these school buses have no built-in chargers for the mobile devices the company that employs the drivers should make GPS training mandatory and provide their drivers with a work cel phone (with data plan) and an extra mobile battery to encourage their bus drivers to use a GPS app without having to worry about their phones losing their battery charge. If Waze was used, there would've been a navigation guide given by the app on how best to avoid traffic through alternate routes, in addition to providing navigation guidelines so that we would not get lost. My body now aches all over - to be honest, a school bus with its type of seat was never meant to be used for a very long drive. It's very hard on the passengers.
