wow. wow wow wow wow wow. incredible food for insanely affordable prices. their duck bean curd is incredible. the service is impeccable. the speed that the food comes out is diabolical. the amount of time that it took from ordering to getting food on our table was faster than running around the block once. how do they do it?!?!?

This place is much bigger than it looks!

From the outside it appears to be a smaller restaurant that sits maybe 10 people, however upon being directed to our seat we were brought through the back to a whole entire section.

The restaurant is your typical Chinese fare but with a vegan twist. As a non-vegan the flavours were all on par to what I am used to - which was an absolute delight!

I ordered the fried Vermicelli with ‘Shrimp’ and Curry: Flavourful, large portions and came out piping hot. I wouldn’t sworn there was meat in there had I not know better.

If you’re looking for a fancy restaurant this isn’t the place. If you’re looking for authentic food with a vegan twist to it please don’t walk past this place!

This is hands down my favorite vegan restaurant in all of Toronto! The mock meats are incredible, each one has its own unique and delicious flavor, and there’s such a wide variety to choose from.

The staff are absolutely wonderful, always warm and welcoming, which makes the dining experience even better. I also loved the complimentary tea they offer when you dine in, it was such a thoughtful touch, especially on a cold day.

Highly recommend this place to anyone, vegan or not!

Since 1991 Sammy and Co. has been busting down some authentic vegan-based Chinese food. Check out below for the entire menu (almost). Highly recommend the duck, yum!

This restaurant has top reviews, I felt it was good but not fantastic. It is good vegan Asian food and that is rare so in that respect it is good. But it is mildly above average food generally speaking if you don’t consider the vegan part. I admit, I ordered take out and perhaps this is why crispy seemed not crispy in the dishes that arrived. I just want to put an opinion out that for the 5.99 delivery paid because I’m a bit farther out of town I’m not sure it’s different than the local fare…., probably the local vegan Asian places produce the same quality food although it might be less well reviewed on line. Sorry to the owners d staff  for this review , nothing wrong with it just not sure what makes it top tier above the other places with less stars.

Bara wow, maten var otrolig! Enorma portioner, vi överbeställde till två av oss men blev inte besvikna på någon rätt. Personalen var så vänlig och maten var så bra valuta för pengarna.

Jag är så glad att det är 100% vegan nu. Jag har varit här tre gånger, alla som jag har haft mycket av maten. Bra ställe för veganer som älskar mat i vietnamesisk stil! Stora portionsstorlekar för sitt pris.

Denna plats är bara perfektion ?? Maten var alla vegan och smakade AMAZING. Mitt enda råd är att antingen inte få aptitretare eller dela eftersom delarna är enorma. Det är en fantastisk plats, vi sitter lätt på en lördag trevlig, personal mycket vänlig och artig.

Låt inte platsen se ut du av. Jag gick nästan på men är så glad att jag inte gjorde det. Personalen är riktigt vänlig och en kruka med grönt te ligger på bordet nästan innan du sätter dig ner. Bra utbud av alternativ på menyn - alla kinesiska. Mat kommer snabbt och i stora portioner så kom när du är hungrig. Kvaliteten är bra - färsk och ångande varm. Definitivt värt ett besök.

Älska denna plats så mycket. Sammy hakar dig med de största portionerna till ett billigt pris. Hela menyn är vegan eller vegetarisk och erbjuder de läckra mocka kött och grönsaker. På något sätt smakar vattnet bättre än normalt här? Skulle rekommenderar denna anläggning till någon som vill äta som en drottning på en budget.

Hela menyn förutom en maträtt var vegan. Jag kan inte reccomend denna plats nog. Stor meny full av alla olika sorters smaker och alternativ. Så många rätter med ett fantastiskt sortiment av olika grönsaker och proteiner, du lämnar fylld med en takeoutbehållare för senare. Mycket vänlig och hjälpsam service som menyn kan se överväldigande läckra, de hjälpte mig att välja exakt vad jag begärde. Kan inte vänta med att gå tillbaka

Högkvalitativ god mat och stora portioner. Jag är vegetarian, jag gillar kinesisk mat och jag reser mycket, så jag har ätit mycket blandade vegetariska "vegetariska Delight" -rätter i hela Nordamerika. Buddhas delikaträtt här är den bästa kinesiska blandade vegetarisk maträtten jag någonsin har haft. Det hade ett fantastiskt sortiment av grönsaker, inklusive förmodligen 5 olika typer av ovanliga svampar. Mycket smakfull också. Platsen är inte mycket att titta på - - utsidan av byggnaden har graffiti och inredningen är mycket utilitaristisk. De tar inte heller kreditkort. Men jag tror att de tar de pengar de sparar på inredning och kreditkort bearbetning avgifter och lägga det i maten istället!

Låt inte den mindre eleganta inredningen avskräcka dig. Denna plats är fantastiskt. Det är några av de bästa veganska kinesiska livsmedel som jag någonsin har haft - nej, skrapa det. Det är några av de bästa kinesiska mat jag någonsin har haft, och det faktum att det råkar vara vegan är bara en extra bonus. Den varma och sura soppan är fantastiskt, och den mocka ingefärabiffen är alltid på vårt bord. Definitivt rekommendera.

Jag har kommit till denna restaurang i år och lanserades av en buddhistisk vegetarisk vän av mig från Taiwan som slutar här när han är i stan. Tumregeln är att du alltid skulle beställa de små portionerna av allting och även då var det vanligtvis tillräckligt att ta hem till en måltid för imorgon. Om jag spenderade mer än $ 14. 00 för en måltid, skulle man låta ha ätit förmodligen för mycket. Jag älskade Glutenplatta aptitretare - en mängd olika gluten till smak som söt och sur, curry etc. Alla "faux" kött. Några ganska bra stekt dumplings aptitretare, söta sura soppor, massor att välja mellan för aptitretare och huvudrätter - älskade de tre olika svamparna. Jag tenderade alltid mot samma rätter och blev aldrig besviken. Kvalitet var alltid bra och tjänsten var alltid rimligt snabb. Jag misstänker att det har skett en ägarförändring, vilket kunde ha varit början på slutet om din ätställe redan är ganska bra. Vanligtvis bara en riktning att gå, så jag var lite försiktig. Egentligen tror jag att kvaliteten på maten har förbättrats. Priserna har kantat upp något. Inte orimligt eftersom de var löjligt billigt. De är fortfarande förmodligen den billigaste restaurangen i Toronto som serverar god mat. Inget att skriva hem om utsmyckning om du inte är påslagen av luftkonditioneringskanaler och blöta vitkalkade väggar. Det finns fortfarande en del av samma personal från de ursprungliga ägarna. Detta är min resa till restaurang för en snabb måltid som jag inte behöver förbereda mig själv och jag är glad att de fortfarande går starka.

Vi hade bråttom och hade bara tid att ta sig ut. Blandat glutenval var välsmakande. Bra delstorlekar och bra priser. Inredning - klokt, det här är bara en liten middagstyp. Tänk på att du går för maten inte utsikten. Maten var fantastisk och personalen var snabba att hjälpa oss med vår beställning, tillhandahålla chop pinnar, servetter etc.

Älskade allt vi hade - önskar att det fanns restauranger som detta i Orlando. Började med soppa - vi beställde varje vår egen - jag hade en wonton-stil (älskar möjligheten att få vegetariska dumplings) och min man hade varmt och surt. Båda portioner gav 3-4 små skålar. Vi delade sedan "brisket" - lite söt men helt älskade det. Detta är en mycket avslappnad restaurang. Tabellerna är nära (det är okej). Det var lite för varmt och fuktigt inuti, gränsat till obekväma men värt att få maten. Endast kontant - vi är inte lokala, märkte inte några indikationer på detta. Hade tillräckligt med pengar på oss lyckligtvis - det är en mycket rimlig prissatt meny.

På vårt senaste besök med vänner från Montreal var det en växande pojke en energisk far. Jag beställde ett litet "sortiment av gluten och bönor", en stor imiterad anda, en medium varm och sur soppa, mina favoritfryst risnudlar med mock beef och grönsaker och braised E-Fu nudlar med grönsaker som var nytt för mig. Mock anka var vår bästa favorit och nästa var E-Fu nudlar som inte ofta är tillgängliga i liten kinesisk restaurang. Varmt te serverades kontinuerligt. Restaurangen är tillgänglig vid Dundas Street bil och parkering finns tillgänglig. Vill inte vilseleda av d-koden. Om du inte är säker på ingredienser i maten, skulle servern gärna förklara och kan till och med erbjuda dig ett prov. Det fanns tillräckligt med vänster overs för att pojken skulle få en måltid på bussen som återvände till Montreal. Framför allt var lunchen för fyra av oss mindre än femtio dollar med skatter och tips.

Kunde inte komma ihåg vad vi beställde, men de var alla bra. Rekommenderar alla att prova det där, även om du inte är vegetarian.

Har åkt till denna restaurang sedan det öppnade i 90 s. Alltid mycket god. Men maten/menyn har förändrats något under de senaste åren är det fortfarande en plats jag alltid äta på, åtminstone en gång. Noodle rätter är enorma och alla bra. Mock duck & vårrullar en definitiv! Men gå med vänner eller familj så du kan prova massor av rätter. Och vet att du kommer att gå hem med rester, garanterade

Denna plats erbjuder en mängd övergångsmiljöer Chinese style vegetariska rätter för mycket rimliga priser. Jag hade deras mycket populära "Singapore style stekta vermicelli" som var bra. Om du inte vill ha MEDD i din mat, du kan enkelt ställa inte lägga till MSG.
