It's the bar at the W, the place to see and be seen. Electronic music plays in the background while you enjoy a lively atmosphere of mostly hotel guests. From the menu I recommend the empanadas, and any signature cocktail. Service can be a little slow, but this is not fast food place. Relax and enjoy the view of Campos Eliseos Ave from this second floor terrace surrounded by old trees.

I've lived in Mexico City for more than three years and learned to accept my disappointment at bars here. (Cantinas aren't the same.) But knowing that the W often has fun, stylish bars, I have this a try.
I will give credit to actual bar seating -- hard to find in CDMX. (Though that doesn't mean you'll get any interaction or warmth from the bartender beyond the perfunctory.)
But the overall place lacked any atmosphere. The drinks leaned sweet, and once we ordered after asking if it was sweet and being told it wasn't ... was in fact too sweet. (I know cocktails and make my own as well.)
I will say the presentation of drinks was pretty and stylish, befitting a higher-end establishment.
But I don't see any reason to return.

Sweet bar with awesome music.  Drinks were pretty pricey but the bar keep took his time to assure perfection.
