I booked this hotel for one week.  Combination of family time and business meetings. Unfortunately, I wish I had stayed at the Hilton or Sofitel.  They apparently upgraded us but the AC was extremely loud and non-functioning.   It sounds like metal grinding.   I even checked with our friends who are staying here and their AC unit is normal.  So we are not making this up.   We waited all day for engineering for the front desk to come back to us with a solution and it wasn't until I reached back at 5:00 p.m. asking if it was fixed. They said it was and I checked and it was the same loud noise.   How disappointing?

The so-called upgraded room was very small, smelt, not to mention the loud AC noise that went on and off every few minutes. We  couldn't sleep all night.

The night front desk person Victor and his manager were absolutely not helpful.  They just made excuses. The daytime manager Ms Gonzalez was nice but still unhelpful.   They offered to move all four of us into a room with one bedroom.

The pictures on the website do not reflect this hotel it might have been from 20 years ago when it was newer.

Don't stay here.

Very convenient to where we needed to go. Clean room, great amenities, wonderful complimentary club room breakfast and dinner if you qualify for access. Courteous front desk staff and friendly cleaning staff.

Our room (in the business tower) was comfortable and had everything we needed. The staff went above and beyond, over and over again, to meet our every need. Guillermo was particularly gracious and helpful. We loved the dining options, the breakfast, the fitness center, and the lobby bar. Location is exceptional. Would absolutely stay here again.

Please stay here if you want over $1000 in erroneous charges on your credit card.

When I arrived the hotel was overbooked. The hotel took it upon themselves to rebook my reservation completely and charged me for a room I have never ever stayed in on top of my existing reservation.

I have tried to resolve this with management and I have gotten no where. I currently have an investigation open with Marriot to investigate the extra charges.

HOTEL IS CONSTANTLY OVERBOOKED. YOUR RESERVATION WILL BE CANCELLED AND YOU WILL BE CHARGED EXTRA.

AVOID. Sandra Gonzales is the manager. Her customer service is extremely lacking. There is no communication with her staff. Please  do yourself a favor and stay at another hotel unless you want to rack up charges on a room you've never stayed in.

We stayed for four nights here in February 2025. We chose this hotel due to its central location and low cost with a trusted hotel chain.

The location is perfect. It is very safe in this area and accessible to some key sights and other areas such as Roma and condesa. These areas are walkable; however uber is super safe, accessible and affordable in this city.

The hotel in general is dated but meets the needs for a city visit. The rooms are quite large, has everything you need. But these are dated. The other negative was the air conditioning. It was so loud and never went that cold. We had a great view of the city from our window including a view of the Angel monument.

The hotel has a gym and pool.

I would recommended staying here for the location and value.

My husband and I stayed at Sheraton Mexico City Isabel Hotel for 4 nights, and we had a comfortable stay. The hotel was in a pretty centralized location. Traveling to Roma Norte, Juarez, and other main attractions like the Zocalo was an easy Uber ride. That said, plan to grab an Uber 30 minutes or more ahead of where you need to be because traffic in this area was crazy. When I checked in, Claudia helped to upgrade my room with a view of Paseo de la Reforma. We had an awesome view of the Statue of Independence from our room. In general I thought our room was great except for the touchy hot water in the shower and the quality of the shower itself. It really needed to be re-caulked. Sheraton's lobby bar served sushi. We tried the Hawaiian roll, which was delightful. I also enjoyed a Mezcalita cocktail while listening to their amazing pianist who played nightly. The desserts at the Nescafe Cafe, on the other hand, were not good. I got a raspberry financier and a tart, and they were lukewarm when I tried them. The case where they were displayed was not refrigerated, which was concerning for me since I'm sure these desserts were made with milk and eggs. We also received services from their spa. My husband and I got a couples treatment including a 60 minute massage and 30 minute facial for $5400 pesos. I thought that this was a steal at ~$150 a person for a 90-minute session. The massage and facial were fantastic and exactly what I needed after a long day of walking. Lastly, we experienced inconsistencies with the hotel transport. I ordered transport to and from the hotel ($69 usd per way). The airport pickup was perfect. Someone was there right when we exited customs, and we were on our way. On our departure day, the driver never showed up. We scheduled a ride for 5am. The front desk receptionist at the time was useless. She told us the driver was in the parking garage, which I felt was wrong info especially knowing that pick-ups and drop-offs were always at the front by the lobby. We went to the parking garage anyway to be told by the valet tenant to go upstairs at the lobby. My husband went to inform the front desk receptionist that we would be late, but best she could do was call to see where they were at. The bell desk guy came to our rescue and talked to one of the folks at the taxi line to help us with our ride. It was frustrating because we didn't leave the hotel by 5:20 and had to be at the airport by 5:30.

Comfortable Friendly and clean... ideal for exploring the beautiful CDMX. Restaurants and retail all around and if you're into hot air balloons and pyramids... look no further since the tour bus will pick you up steps away at the Angel of Independence. My wife and I had a wonderful experience.

Disappointed. I've been here 3 times, all over a week. I make trips to this city regularly and am a Bonvoy member with rewards. I pulled up with luggage, no one came with a cart (I have a large box as it is work travel). Why was I ignored? Had to wave someone down for help. I get to my room and it's clean but the tub is chipped, paint on walls peeling, the curtain pulls don't work- I'm in a rundown room. At check in, I wanted to upgrade (thought our Corp benefits actually got us the newer tower- last trip it did). Nope, they wanted me to pay. But how booked is this hotel in the off season? My mini bar is empty, had to go to concierge to ask for water and standard stuff. So far, not good.

I've stayed at this location a few times and every time has been amazing. The staff is always very friendly and accommodating, the rooms are very clean and it's in a prime location. Yes, the hotel may be a bit outdated from a furniture perspective, but everything else is excellent. This location is close to a lot of restaurants, attractions, etc. There are other hotels nearby that might nicer, but double the cost. I've had no issues with this hotel and I will definitely stay here in the future. Peace.

Positives: - Beds are a good size - Decent size room and bathroom - TV with a few English channels Negatives: - Extremely outdated rooms, carpets and decor - Hygiene was not good, we had to ask for bed sheets to be changed multiple times, and were still not satisfied (massive brown and yellow stains on the sheets) - Staff cannot speak a lick of English, and are very rude and dismissive - Broken Curtains - Weak shower head pressure - Empty minibar, and not cold enough - Old thermostat system - Disgusting bath curtains - Wallpaper is falling apart - Stains on the carpet, and only the carpet in the hallway is vacuumed - Limited options during breakfast buffet, not many juice options, chef who makes eggs is clueless and served me burnt eggs, fruits do not look washed and are not fresh, lots of the plates are dirty and you literally have to chase staff down to be poured a cup of coffee

Let's start off with the positives. This hotel is located in the perfect spot. It's right infront of the roundabout, which has the Angel of Independence statue. There's a lot of restaurants and shopping centers located in this area. Another great thing about this hotel was how friendly the staff was. They were very helpful, particularly the concierge who showed me some areas I can visit by going on the tour bus (which is also directly across the street from the hotel). The hotel lobby is beautiful however the rooms itself are a little dark, dingy, and outdated. The carpet in these rooms definitely need to be replaced. I will say the bathroom is pretty nice, they include this giant soaking tub which is great. Now I did have maintenance come and fix my room because while I was taking my shower the light fixture fell out and almost knocked me in my head. However, when I called they sent someone up right away and the issue was resolved almost immediately. I can also say that my bed was very comfortable. I also remember the first night I was there their air conditioning wasn't working that effectively. I had it on like 9 degrees Celsius (very very cold), but the room remained at 21 degrees. The following day the issue was corrected so maybe they just had something going on that day with the AC. Overall, this hotel is good but not great. I think remodeling the rooms will work greatly in their favor. Don't come here expecting anything too luxurious. This hotel will get the job done, that's about it.

First trip in Mexico city and wanted to find a hotel that balances convenience, luxury, and price. This hotel achieved a good example of all of those. Located on Paseo del reforma, a short trip to chapultec Park, and right next to the angel of independence. Located close to great dining, shopping, and nightlife. Only problem is the 40 min ride from the airport, but the hotel staff will make you feel welcome once you get there. The club lounge was great, decent food options, alcohol, and great views. Amazing service, definitely enjoyed breakfast and pre dinner snacks and drinks. Frost desk was also relatively efficient though it can get busy. Lobby bar was super unique. Loved the staircas design and can get pretty busy. Got upgraded to a suite, enjoyed the extra sitting area. Bose sound system was good. Tvs were large. Bed was very comfortable, everything worked as needed. Bathroom was spacious. Really made an enjoyable experience. And nice welcome present. Rooftop pool was super sad. Should be completely redone - only negative about the hotel

The main issue with this hotel is that the service quality has greatly decreased. Stayed here before and it was good. This year 2024 the service was awful. First room they assigned us was just terrible. Old, dirty and smelly. Had to fight 3 times to get it changed.

First time staying here. It was a business trip so I had no choice in this selection. Hallways smell like you step into a public bathroom. Bathrooms have no exhaust so ventilation must be only when you open your room door onto the hallways. A/C did not work properly. Bar closes at 11 every night unless you want to pay cover for their loud mariachi bar that closes later. Minibar was empty upon arrival. It took them over 30 minutes to arrive to fill it up with some local beers and snacks. Housekeeping was extremely friendly.
