We took Airlink tour to the Artic Circle because by wouldn't you. We met our driver at noon and had a quick stop for snacks/lunch pick up. We then headed out of town! First stop was a piece of the Alaska Pipeline. Next stop was the Dalton Highway sign. Then the Yukon River. Then Finger Mountain. And finally the Arctic Circle. Our tour guide/driver Glenda was incredible. She answered all of our questions, I felt very safe on a sketchy road- it's a sketchy road for sure. She is very knowledgeable and gave us a great tour. Things to know before you go: 1) the road is sketchy- it's gravel and very rough. If you get motion sickness- be prepared because it's pretty bad 2) it's a LONG day- literally 14 hours mostly in the van. We had plenty of stops for bathroom breaks etc. but it's a long day. 3) you are literally going to see a sign and to say you have done it- now it's cool for sure- but make sure it is worth it to you. It's interesting geography- lots of tundra and hills. You aren't going to see majestic mountains - but it is a remote wilderness. I would not drive that road on my own- unless it was summer and I had AWD vehicle. But a lot of rental car companies won't let you go on the road. But I wouldn't drive it on my own.

I also heard good things about Airlink Shuttles. The man and wife who own the company seem to know what they're doing and answer their 907-area code phone number usually so you can actually talk to somebody. They, in fact, once held the shuttle contract for driving people to-and-from Chena Hot Springs Resort. Once Chena began their own shuttle service, Airlink wisely priced themselves lower and undercut Chena's own back and forth to Fairbanks ride! Smart business move! But the tours to the Arctic Circle and Aurora Northern Light treks are the meat-and-bones of the company; also popular are the Fairbanks City Tours and if you have kids--Santa Claus House in North Pole. These guys do it all here. They will shuttle you to just about anywhere you want to go around town and right up to the Pipeline at the top of the state, if need be. My shuttle driver, Daniel, was fabulous. He's a local and knows his way around. He was flexible with me and went through the Taco Bell drive-thru and waited for me while I ran into Safeway for a quickie Starbucks fix. Truly grateful for that! I can recommend Airlink as a great transportation company with my 5 YELP STARS.

Do NOT use this business! My group of 8 paid the owner $1344 (which included a $200 tip) for a future trip (more than a week away) which we unfortunately had to cancel 2 days later. I texted the owner - no reply. I called the owner & had a 4 min conversation about needing to cancel, which he was very unfriendly about. At no point did he ever tell me there was a 24 hr cancellation policy. I alerted my credit card company but because the owner lied & said he'd told me about the cancellation policy (plus lied & said I never contacted him about cancelling) I lost the money. This man is a nightmare. DO NOT USE!!

This is a great service. Linda picked us up for a short trip out of Fairbanks. She was delightful and a wealth of knowledge regarding the area and its history. The price was reasonable (cheaper than uber or a taxi). But I accidentally left my camera with all of the captured memories our this trip that we have saved years for on the van. We didn't realize it until the next day when we were on an excursion and the camper was not in its spot. We called the service and they searched the van, found the camera, and delivered it to our hotel. What a relief! The camera was expensive but the lost images would have been priceless. Thank you Linda and thank you AirLink!! There are still good, honest people in this world.

We were having a difficult time arranging a tour to the Arctic Circle. We were a party of two and companies were requiring a minimum of four due to the cost of running a van for that distance. Airlink Shuttle and Tours allowed us to pay for three people to make the trip. Carl picked us up at our hotel around 8am and spent the next 12 hours regaling us with amazing tales of Alaska and the Dalton Highway area. All of this while driving a road that requires constant vigilance. Every aspect of the experience was well worth it. If we ever desire to do this again, Airlink will be our first call.

They answer their phone. What a concept. You would be surprised. They were very accommodating with a last minute request. They are very expensive but was willing to negotiate a price for a short tour. Betty was our driver. She was wonderful and a great tour guide! I would recommend them. They are pricey but many of the transportation companies charge high rates. They are competitive with other companies. I would recommend their Arctic circle tour.

Our group arrived in Fairbanks via the train. We were referred to Airlink Shuttle Services for our transport needs in the Fairbanks area. We called and they were able to do a private tour for our group of 7 the next day. The driver, Betty, was great! She took us to all the usual tourist spots, and some extra areas. If a big tour bus was at the same place, she took a detour, and and then took us back when there were less tourists. We learned alot about Fairbanks, and had some great memories. Most of us were from California and some from Georgia ... and we all loved our experience with Airlink shuttle services. Great service! Highly recommend!

I wonder why these amazing companies have no reviews. We booked a tour to arctic circle and we are highly impressed by their customer service and our guide/driver reached our hotel on-time for pickup.Daniel is his name and he is a cool guy who stopped us near a store before starting to get our drinks and snacks before the tour.He is also very informative about the history of the place which falls on the way. It is a 12 hours trip and it is very much needed that our driver should be very efficient on dalton highway as that is one of the dangerous route. He also informed us the day schedule before starting. I highly recommend this company and if possible ask for Daniel for better experience .

but you are still thief. you denied a dying woman a trip that was on her bucket list. federal law was no more than 10 in a group. you wanted to crowd 14 people in a 15 passenger van. you wanted to break a promise to me.... break the federal and state law..... then you stole my money!!!!!! you are a .....and thief!!!!!!! everyone should know!!!!!!
