At first glance this seems to be a top tier restaurant. The atmosphere is very nice, the service was pretty good, but when it come to the food it is severely lacking. The seared Tuna was actually really good but that's the only menu item I actually enjoyed. The other sashimi was mediocre at best and the rolls were not good at all. I only ate half of each roll. The quality of food for the price is absolutely astronomical. In the end I paid $600 (party of three) for an experience I would value at $150, maybe. I highly DO NOT recommend this restaurant. It goes without saying I will not be back.

This is so far the best sushi restaurant I’ve been to! Sat at the sushi bar and our chef(Lucas) was very knowledgeable on fishes and very good at explaining his work. I’d def visit here again, great experience, thanks to chef Lucas👍🏻

We went to Sushi Roku for a date night at the W Hotel and I was very impressed with this restaurant. We ordered the heavensake Junmai 12 bottle and Kiran light beer. For appetizers, we ordered vegetable tempura and wagyu beef skewers.

However, the best food we ordered was the chefs choice of 7 pieces of nigiri and 1 hand roll. Overall, this is high-quality and one of the best sushi experiences in Scottsdale. If you want a vibrant and fun atmosphere, then this is the place to be! We will definitely be coming back here again!

Extremely elegant atmosphere. My friend and I were under dressed for the place but it was very dark in the restaurant.
So dark in the restaurant we had to use our flashlights on our phones to look at the menus.
Not that's a super bad thing, it does add to the aesthetic.

Now the menu is somewhat limited for a sushi place. That is a small con. But the big pro was the cost.
The cost of the food was amazingly low for sushi that tasted that good.
I'm from California so maybe it's the low cost of Arizona but still 9/10 sushi.

Highly recommend, just dress for a nice fancy dinner

For the price it’s ok, I’d expect more.  We sat at the sushi bar and it was dirty.  Order a drink, sake, and a. Beer.  Wrong beer, 1 sake glass.  Sushi chef and service was great.  Sushi was amazing, I’ll give them that.  But for the price there are other places just as good and not as pricey and cleaner.
