When they say Durty, they aren't saying that to be camp-y...they mean it. I've heard of Durty Nelly's several times, but since I don't drink/bar hop, I've never been. I recently stopped by to see a free comedy show and I was a little surprised (not in a positive way). First off, there was no one greeting or showing people to tables, so many of us had to stand the entire time. I heard they were bringing more chairs, but never did. Also, I saw a few servers, but none of them ever came over and asked if I wanted anything. I ended up making my way to the bar and while I know they were busy, I would have appreciated a bit more of a friendly attitude. It seems like maybe they all bartend and serve versus having 1 designated bartender...? Also, the bathroom was the biggest shock! They have building permits all around and outside the front door. I'm assuming they're going some renovations. So, they have a port-a-potty right out front. They also have a single stall and another bathroom, but it's out of order for renovations. The bathroom that was open was horribly dirty. It makes me really nervous to eat at a restaurant that has a dirty restroom. Sadly, I was hungry and did end up ordering the giant pretzel. I think it's probably incredible if drunk, but being sober it did not taste too great. The cheese was ok, but I think I've had a better pretzel at a sporting event. I think there's some people out there who absolutely love Durty Nellys and I think it does have a bit of charm, but needs a major face lift and deep cleaning.

Came for Tuesday trivia - which was a blast! We arrived early for happy hour, so the place was still pretty empty. We grabbed a table with a clear view of the stage where the trivia host would be. One downside: the lighting inside was quite dim, even though it was bright and sunny outside. That said, the low lighting fits the cozy pub vibe. The service, on the other hand, was not pleasurable. The waitstaff didn't seem very friendly and came across as a bit impatient, especially when we were trying to order from the happy hour menu. Happy hour ended at 6:30pm, and we placed another drink order at 6:22pm, which we did receive in time. However, when the bill came, we were surprised to see we were charged full price for all the drinks. And, most disappointing was the $18 charge we received for 2 soda waters! We had to go tell the waitstaff that it's ridiculous to charge $9 for water and they ended up adjusting it to $8 - so $4 each. Ridiculous. It's water! We informed them that most places do not charge for soda water, and the lady just said her manager charges. That was very disappointing. We had to go back to get the bill adjusted a couple times, again disappointing. They definitely need better waitstaff at that location, or they were just having an off day. Please don't take it out on your paying customers. The trivia host was cool and fun. Great voice for a trivia host. It was his birthday so it was nice that teams were buying him a drink or shot. Unfortunately, I have no desire to return to Durty Nelly's.

It is literally the best shepherds pie in California and if you like fish and chips, wow also the best in Southern California, at the surface is always amazing very friendly

For an appetizer we posted the massive pretzel and a side of fries. Our drinks were an old fashion and a Corona. The cocktail was strong, but full of the flavors you'd expect from an old fashion. For dinner my wife had the Irish Stew and I ordered the Bangers and Mash. Wow, everything was delicious! The price was great and the portion sizes were plentiful. It was comedy night and Fair Trade Comedy crew offered a broad spectrum of comic styles that were enjoyed. There was no cover fee so we made sure to tip the comedians for their entertaining sets. We'll come back for another show and more great food.

Durty Nelly's is the best. I've been twice: once on a Saturday night and once on St. Patrick's Day (arguably the busiest night of the year for Irish pubs!!). Both times, despite the crowds, the lines moved quick, service was great, and I had a ton of fun. The space is so roomy and they have an outdoor patio space too. They do karaoke on Saturdays. The only thing is, they have single stall bathrooms and there can be quite a line!

Parking was pretty easy, as there is a business park sharing the same lot. I came here last night for my first visit, with a 13 party meetup group. The servers were friendly, bit overwhelmed and scattered The corned beef was tender and tasty. I enjoyed the karaoke set up and would return again. I'm just not a singer, so I sang along from my table. The whole crowd vibed.

Okay what a name for this location. I was in town for a conference and my friends wanted to do karaoke. So they looked it up and this place had karaoke. We all hopped in various cars and high-tailed it over to this location. First of all it's a bar expect a bar but this is the karaoke that you do on stage they have it many nights throughout the week and it's actually super fun. If you're pretty terrible it seems like the host or one of the hosts will kind of jump in and help you if the crowd isn't doing it as well. The location was clean the bathrooms were clean especially for a bar. Service was pretty good the server really accommodated my stupid requests. We got the fried pickles and oh man were those amazing definitely definitely definitely get those. We also got shrimp platters and chips and salsa and I asked for a chicken breast with barbecue sauce and she said she was going to have to bribe the kitchen and if she came out with a knife stuck into her that it was my fault. But ultimately they did it and it was actually fantastic and it was really really good because she had steered me away from chicken tenders she said don't get those it's the only thing they don't make themselves. Ultimately we ended up having way too much food and took a bunch with us back to the hotel. Drinks were fantastic The Lemon Drop Martini was so strong that my friend couldn't drink it I had to drink half of it for her to get more of a mixer. Don't get me wrong I wasn't complaining because I like alcohol. But it was too strong for her which was great benefit for me. I would definitely come back to this place and in fact I kind of wanted to do that while we were there for the conference but it just didn't work out. When we got up to sing they were Beyond complimentary the KJ actually will videotape you sometimes I think it's probably for his Instagram but super complimentary and welcoming to all and everybody so that was nice to see. Definitely invited me to come back. The lineup was extraordinarily long we only got up for one song and we were there for 4 hours. But there's nothing they can do when there's 50 or 60 people that want to sing. So just enjoy it. I will say this that music that was the filler music between acts was absolutely freaking fantastic it was extraordinarily loud so I was pretty hoarse by the time we left and it wasn't from singing it was from trying to talk to the people around me. LOL Go to this place expecting loud music and to have a fun time with some great food.
