Loud, busy & crowded as usual. For a party of 3, we were given a wait time of 15-20min. After not being alerted of a table being ready after 1HOUR, we finally decided to check back with reception in which we were then given a table. Food was great though, guess that's what matters right?

Came here on a Saturday around 2pm. The place was half empty, but we still had to wait about 30 minutes for a table of two since they seemed short-staffed (looks like that's a common issue from other reviews). After we got the text to check in, we had to wait another 10 minutes because the table wasn't ready.... kind of frustrating since that should've been prepped beforehand. That said, the value is solid. AYCE KBBQ with unlimited sides at a good price. The fried shrimp and calamari were standouts... perfectly crisp! The corn cheese was a miss for me, way too runny. The meats were great. We did two rounds and it was plenty. Favorites were the gochujang beef belly, galbi, and honey soy beef belly. Service really saved the experience. Bruno was amazing, super attentive, and checked in often. Huge thanks to him for making up for the long wait.

Initial bout of customer service was great. We were sat quickly and were asked about our first round fairly quickly as well. However, the attentiveness was not consistent. Potstickers we ordered first didn't come til towards the end of our meal. We had to ask multiple times for the sauce/dipping trays (they're usually at the table when we're seated). And we had to ask multiple times for a grill change (as a reminder to our server that we had already asked for one ~10 mins prior and no one came to change it)...we were practically sending smoke signals that everyone except the staff could see. Honestly, the pic doesn't serve the final look of the grill plate justice, cuz that thing was BURNT before someone finally showed up with its replacement. Food itself was ok. Variety is still decent as before.

Gen is delicious all-you-can-eat KBBQ with a high price and service I would call "okay, I guess". Vibes are about what you'd expect of a place that is meant to be a louder social dining experience, but in opposition to that idea, they ONLY have QR code menus and our server confirmed that they do not have physical menus at all. Since you have to order multiple times, you and your party will spend a lot of time staring at your phones instead of exploring a menu together. Not really too much else to say- You know exactly what you're getting into when you walk in and it delivers that experience consistently with each visit.

This has a large variety of options. They also have more Mexican base options too compared to the usual kbbq place. They have carne asada and al pastor. Service was good. Our waiter was attentive and changed our grill multiple times without us having to flag her down or ask. And this place has the usual gen atmosphere. Music isn't too loud but enough that makes the place fun. The only thing about this place is that the quality doesn't seem as good as it used to be or compared to the places nearby. We got the premium brisket and there was not fatty part on the meat and was a bit tough. The cheek also wasn't as premium too. So overall, there is a larger selection but the quality doesn't seem as great as before. We went at 5:30 and waited about 25minutes to get seated for a party of 2 on a Saturday.

Me and my partner visited during labor day lunch after craving some korean bbq. Our hopes were high and perhaps it's the location but this location seemed to be understaffed. There were many tables open but there was a long wait outside with lots of people. They did have a yelp waitlist where you can track your spot. But you have to check in with the host first. Overall the service was lacking. Going to our table, the server was clearly tired and overworked. She was not too attentive and did not offer to help with any recommendations when we were struggling with the many options. We noticed that our plates and also the initial grill came out dirty. Perhaps the backend staff was overworked as well as it was not washed properly. Also says alot that the server that put the grill on was probably too overworked to properly see the grill, as they put it on anyways. Lots of places now have ordering through a tablet for example and that can help reduce the workload of the servers. Food wise was nothing special, the two soups that they have on the menu were very salty. There was a strong smoke smell near the front desk but the smoke evac system at our table worked great. Overall i would not come back again, there is alot of options out there.

At Gen BBQ -- absolutely awful service from James. I asked him to change the grill pan, and he just ignored me for like five whole minutes! By the time he came back, the meat was totally burnt and stuck to the pan. The other servers were super nice, but James? Just avoid him. When I asked for the bill, someone else asked for a drink, and guess what -- he brought the drink but not my bill. Unbelievable. So disappointing.

Wonderful time! Six of us had dinner here tonight and it was a wonderful delicious time! The ambiance is very inviting and comfortable to be in. Our service tonight was very good given how busy this place is. You can see the service and delivery people in constant motion that must run all night long. We let our kids do the ordering since the rest of us had never been there before. They ordered appetizers and the main courses. Everything was delicious! My wife and I enjoyed the bulgogi and thought it was very tender and tasty! Kids really loved the pork and beef belly offerings. Everything was delicious! The service is just so underwhelming, it's so hard to justify the value. Getting the side dishes take a long time and most of the time get missed if we don't follow up multiple times. It takes so long to even get the salt and oil sauce that you're halfway through the meal before they remember to bring it by. I ordered the mint cucumber soju lemonade and it was a zucchini in it instead... definitely not worth the $8. And when I brought it up to the server, they said that they were told it's a cucumber with nothing they can do. All in all, I wish the experience was much better than what's it's been.

Yall need to give Jamie a raise! That man was running back-and-forth all night, making sure everybody had what they needed before they even mentioned it out loud. Best waiter I have had in a really long time so kind tentative and besides the environment I would go back just because his service made the night so much smoother like a cherry on top of date night anyways Very roomy place great date night fun lights! They had ice cream a huuuufe menu of drinks and stuff I wish I starve myself for a day so I could like try everything! I found out that I love rice paper wraps. The only thing I would ask for was lettuce wraps, but there's so many people that come in. I could understand why it's hard to keep it in stock.
