This is one of my favorite hot pot spots in town. The best part is they serve a good amount of meat for a decent price. The amount of food you get is heavenly. The service is pretty quick too with awesome servers. The line to get in takes a bit but it's totally worth it. You can sit down or eat some of their snacks while you wait. Would recommend! The interior is solid too. It's always clean. The sauce bar is amazing too! Would love to come back and celebrate a birthday!

Went here for a friend's birthday and it was a cool experience overall. What's unique about this place is how they arrange the meat in a circle around the hot pot, which looks really nice when it's served. Service is quick. They also have some interesting Chinese side dishes like cold sour chicken feet and other cold appetizers you don't usually see at other hot pot spots. The experience itself was fun, but aside from the presentation, nothing really stood out too much for me. The food was decent, just not particularly memorable.

I came here for dinner last night and got seated all the way inside the restaurant. It was really warm and steamy which made it a bit uncomfortable to eat Hot Pot. The Australian Wagyu we ordered tasted okay. But everything else like the veggies, fishballs, and potato noodles were good. There were some tiny fruit flies or something flying around and kept touching my food so that was really annoying. I had to sit there swatting them away : (

we have make reservation with them and on the reservation date they cancel our reservation by just sending out messages. We turn out have to find some other restaurant since we already planing go out to eat that night and my friend even take half day off. Service is always not good here, plus the food is not worth we come back any more. Very unprofessional and disrespectful！

Chongqing style hot pot! Chong Qing is known for their spicy cuisine and the signature broth here is a very spicy beef broth made with premium beef tallow. It's rich and oh so spicy good. We were recommended the chicken soup with fish maw base and they was also rich and flavorful. The menu here is a la carte but we appreciate the portion size. The part which we didn't care for was the required charge to use their sauce bar and there's no way to opt out.

First time to Liuyishou and tbh was intrigued the meat ring I kept seeing on social media, it definitely worked because it brought me out to try the place! Dined in on a Sunday night with a short wait time, definitely a spot for large groups and pairs not so much solo diners. Checked in on the iPad and was prompted to order on the iPad. Automatically charged for the sauce bar, $3.50 pp for sauces, side dishes and dessert. Everything else is a la carte including the broth. If you've ever been to Haidilao, you'll be accustomed to the ordering system here. There do have a good variety of items you wouldn't see elsewhere, but feel like they're lacking the veg department. Ordered the Mushroom and Pork Bone broth with two beef entrees, assorted veg (woodear mushroom, lettuce, spinach, taro root, potato and corn), chinese donut and rice. Everything tasted fresh and the broth was not too salty at all. They also provide Tartary Buckwheat herbal tea on the house. The sauce bar has your typical dipping sauce staples with some instructions for recipes if you're not too sure, some side dishes as well. I loved the cucumber salad. Fruits like orange and honeydew as well as a sago, goji berry dessert. Service was minimal and hands off, we did have someone come by to help and to refill broths when we ran low. Besides that, you can call for assistance on your iPad for anything or to call for check. The only thing that bothered me was the music, if you're not bothered by noise this won't be an issue. I just didn't find the hard, experimental EDM to be good for pleasant conversation. But of course, YMMV. Price point is a bit steep, bill came out to be around $80 before tip for two people. Parking lot is small, but didn't have an issue with late dining on a Sunday.

Wait Time (5/5) We came around 1pm on a weekend and were seated after ~15mins wait. Not too bad. Service (4/5) Pretty good service. They have a tablet with buttons so you can make specific requests (such as for water), though they usually come and ask what you need and occasionally our request went unanswered. Ambiance (5/5) No concerns. Parking/Access (4/5) The parking lot is annoyingly small and is shared with a tutoring place next door which uses a lot of spots for pick-up/drop-off. We were able to find a spot on the far side. Would be back if I'm in the area and brought my appetite.

Liuyishou is consistently the top tier hot pot. Their spicy beef broth and tomato broth are so good and flavorful. The quality of the meats and other things are great as well. I also love the desserts they have. The fruit tea is sooo good here too. Cheaper and better than haidilao 100% (not saying haidilao is bad but it's below liuyishou for me). Service is good, and it's easy to call the staff with the click of a button on the iPad. The ambiance is nice and the place is very nice and modern.

Don't miss the crispy pork, its golden crackling exterior gives way to juicy bursts of flavor. Complement your selections with a variety of handmade shrimp paste, intestines/ tripe and meatballs that promise a punch of flavor and their unlimited sauce bar! Finish your lavish meal with a cup of bright, soothing fruit tea, perfect for cleansing the palate after a sumptuous spread. Liu Yi Shou is one of my favorites for a hotpot feast, with great service and ambiance.
