We tried a bunch of dishes at Momo Grill yesterday. I really liked the food. This is a neighborhood restaurant that has table service. However, the kitchen is where this restaurant's strength is at. Their wait staff was marginal at best. So let's talk about food... We tried 8 dishes. My favorites were the chicken lollipops(5/5) and their chicken chow mein(5/5). The chow mein noodles had a char/smokey flavor that you get from a screaming hot wok. It was one of the best chow meins I've ever had. However, every other dish we ate was really good as well. The chicken 65 (4/5) had real good flavor but was a little dry and needed a sauce. The Tandoor chicken momos (4/5) were very good, especially dipped in either of the two accompanying dipping sauces. The butter chicken (4/5), chicken tikka masala (4/5), and the dal makhani (4/5) were yummy. The paneer(5/5) in the chili paneer (3/5) had a great texture and flavor. However the sauce was just okay in the chili paneer dish. Next time I will order paneer in their tikka masala sauce. I can see why this restaurant is got a high Yelp rating. Their kitchen staff definitely makes the magic happen at this restaurant. I would probably just do takeout and not deal with the various issues that we observed/experienced with the wait staff. Momo's grill has a couple of locations, but this one is a personal favorite as I'd say it has a cozier family feel feeling to the place. Also, the servers here are very nice and attentive, Rojina especially always makes us feel very welcome : ) In regards to the food, it arrives pretty quickly after ordering and the colors and flavor that are brought to the table look and taste amazing- Compliments to the chef(s)! Note: it's easy to eat here as a vegetarian!

Her attentive approach ensured everyone felt cared for, whether suggesting adjustments or simply checking in, all with an effortless grace. She also shared that they've recently expanded with a new location in downtown Sunnyvale, which I'm eager to dine in soon. Did a takeout and ordered below 5/5 chicken lollipop - gravy based and yummy. It was spiced right and perfect to taste. 3.5/5 veg chowmein - this was average and bit on spicier side. Good amount of veggies but still much spicy than expected. Overall would recommend this place for the chicken lollipop. Go for it.

Love ordering takeout momos from here! Service is quick and we got our food in a decent amount of time. The only problem I really have is that it is a little bit pricey for the portion size.

Came here for a quick lunch and ordered takeout. The food was ready surprisingly fast! We only tried the momos, but we absolutely loved them. I usually prefer steamed over fried, and these had the perfect texture with a nice bite to the dough. The flavors were fantastic, and the orange sauce they came with was delicious. I just wish they had more vegetarian options because these were so good! I'd love to come back and explore more of the menu.

The service here was terrible. We were the only customers in the restaurant today. We were ready to order, but the waitress was walking in and out of the kitchen without taking our order. When I finally ordered, I specifically told her I don't eat spicy food. She replied, "No problem, we can make it not spicy." But when I asked questions about the menu, she responded with a bad attitude. When the food arrived, my very first bite was extremely spicy. My lips started burning and I had to keep drinking water. I decided to just pay and leave, but the waitress disappeared into the kitchen and never came back after dropping off the food. We waited and kept calling out, "Hello? Excuse me?"--but no one responded. In the end, I had to call the restaurant's phone number. She answered, and when I told her we were still in the restaurant waiting, she just said "oh" and hung up on me. After a while, she finally came out, and the first thing she said was, "What? Food is no good?" I ended up paying for food I couldn't even eat. Then she went straight back into the kitchen. No wonder the place was empty--the waitress acted like she didn't want us there. If service stays this bad, I wouldn't be surprised if they close down.

Such a delicious place in Saratoga and absolutely worth the try. This restaurant serves a variety of food with LOTS of spice and flavor. I went with a bunch of girlfriends and we ordered their butter chicken (7/10), Tikka Masala (9/10), Naan (8/10), and three types of momos: Steamed Momo (9/10), Fried Momo (7/10), Chili Momo (9.5/10). We went on a Wednesday night and the service was quick. Staff were also sweet and recommended some food items to us. Parking is easy to find as they are located in a lot. Overall, great food and great vibes.

Yummy food! We enjoyed butter chicken, palak paneer, tandoori momos, naan, and rice. Spice levels seemed a bit elevated, the "mild" was more like "medium", and the "medium" approached "spicy lover". It's all relative, but at least now you know Also the music seemed to alternate between Yo Naniko Siraima and Barney the purple dinosaur--but maybe that was just special for our visit The food quality definitely warrants a return!
