Mumu Hotpot is dangerously good -- and the fact that it's right next to my work definitely doesn't help my wallet . This place is consistently solid. It's almost never crowded when we go, and we're always seated right away (which already earns bonus points). The service is fast -- our meat usually comes out within minutes of ordering, which is perfect when you're starving after work. The Meat Lovers combo is my go-to for two people -- generous portions, great quality, and honestly a pretty good deal. The sauce bar has all the essentials to mix up your perfect blend -- garlic, chili, sesame, ponzu -- you name it. Unlimited refills, too, which is always a win. Plus, you can order and pay straight from your phone, which makes the whole experience super smooth and modern. Overall, Mumu Hotpot has earned a top spot on my list of go-to hotpot spots. Great food, great value, never a wait -- what more can you ask for?

Love Mumu! I prefer AYCE places but this is a good spot with high quality meat. I ordered the meat lovers for my husband and I and it was good portions. We finished everything and left full. The meats are thin and fatty, we chose the toro 2x and the short ribs. We also got a large plate of vegetables which came with a few sides such as tofu, rice cake, and corn. I will say, it seems like this locations portion is a little smaller than the other Mumu's I've visited in the Bay Area. Service was okay, my water was empty entire meal as no one came by. Didn't bother flagging someone down tho. Sauce bar was clean and fully stocked. Overall, good experience. Will be back.

Horrible customer service and overcharged me. I dined with you guys and paid in advance my tab it was around $79 for MUMU SIGNATURE on the website. I ordered nothing else. I ordered the mumu signature. I had bad service and entire time nobody came back or assisted with questions. Workers told me to google the menu to figure out what noodles were what I even had to get my own to go containers at the end. I left the resturant and no receipt was given. No host came back. My card was already on file and I paid with the deposit as soon as i arrived and scanned the code. I saw the charge on my card as $109.70 later that day. Why is that? Why as I overcharged. I would appreciate a refund for horrible service and also overcharging me, and no receipt. Bad customer service. It was my moms first meal since being hospitalized weeks ago at a nice place, and they dissapointed sooooo very much customer service wise and being overcharged. I was never given a receipt or attended to

I ordered the Meat Lovers combo along with fish roe and everything was delicious -- definitely a 5-star meal in terms of flavor and quality. The ingredients were fresh, and the mushroom broth and yuzu shio was rich and satisfying. That said, I do wish the service had been a bit more attentive. My water cup wasn't refilled, and no one came by to top off the hotpot broth as it boiled down. A little more attentiveness would've made the experience perfect.

This Mumu location is probably the best Mumu location in the bay area. Food is always really good. Service is always really good. For whatever reason, the quality of the food always seems better at this location than the others. Dining area can get loud due to how many people are there and the conversations. Sometimes it's the music or if there is a game on the TV. This is one of our favorite date night spots or even a quick lunch. You order through the QR code and also pay through the QR code. Service staff is very polite and walk around frequently in case you need anything such as water refills more soup or utensils/napkins.

I always wanted to try Mumu because I heard so many good things about this place. We came here maybe about an hour and a half before closing and they still had a line! I want to say we waited maybe about 25 minutes to be seated. Ordering was fairly easy since you're able to order through your phone. I got the spicy sichuan soup flavor. It was surprisingly spicy which I really liked. I love the veggies that came out with the soups. We probably could've opted for one veggie platter altogether, but lesson learned for another day. They give you a good assortment or veggies that come with spinach, Napa cabbage, mushroom, tofu, broccoli, corn, etc. We ordered way too much meat but was surprisingly able to finish all of it. They have a DIY sauce bar where you can also grab extra bowls, napkins and spoons. I'll probably wait until the one in San Jose is opening to go again, but this is a hot pot restaurant I would come back to.

Tried the Wagyu beef toro and it was delicious! Definitely on the fattier side but I personally prefer that since it makes the meat more tender. When you order, you select one carb type so rice isn't normally included unless you select that specific carb type which was interesting for me since I couldn't choose both udon and rice haha. I also tried the passion fruit orange tea drink and I ended up trying it with less sugar since that was what was recommended to me but if you normally get 100% sugar in drinks, just get 100% here too

One of the best hot pots I've tried in a long time! My boyfriend raves about this place and goes at least once a week with his coworkers. I got the yuzu shio and my boyfriend got the tom yum. Both are excellent choices, but I would definitely recommend the tom yum more. We got the meat lover with 2 short ribs and lamb. I personally would skip on the lamb, but definitely get the short ribs. It was super tender and held the broth flavor well. I shared this combo with my bf and it was enough for the both of us. They have a small sauce bar, which had good selection, nothing fancy. The service was good! You order through a QR code and they bring out the food to you, so quick process. The restaurant itself had a decent amount of seats and we came on a Monday. It was not packed at all, but i heard it can get crazy, so definitely recommend calling ahead and reserving a table!

Had a chance to try Mumu with the hubby for our 3 year dating anniversary. I was recovering from being under the weather so we thought why not grab something hearty and warm like hotpot? Mumu was a great idea - this place is busy though so come early and put your name in the waiting list! The service here is fast though and luckily we were able to get a table in around 20ish minutes. The ambiance is casual. For food we ordered: * MuMU signature combo - this came with 2 meats, 2 sides (we got the fish balls with roe and another new fish option), and a plate of veggies with ramen noodles and instant noodles. This was absolutely delicious and I loved the variety this combo offered. There is plenty of meat and lots of veggies - there was so much we actually couldn't finish it all!I ended up getting the sukiyaki broth which was on the sweeter side which I loved while the hubs got the Thai one which had a nice kick of spice. They have a sauce bar also where you can make your own sauce to dip your meat and veggies in which is awesome. Overall, this was a great experience and would recommend one to visit for hotpot! Good quality and portions for price.

Delicious authentic hot pot meat with halal wagyu options. As I am writing this review, they have three halal meat options outside of the seafood option. There is halal Wagyu toro, halal Wagyu chuck, and lamb. We've tried all three and depending on the cut, which has varied between visits our favorite changes between the wagyus. The lamb did not taste gamey and tasted good at Mumu and I usually don't like lamb because of the strong taste. For those needing halal, they only offer halal beef and lamb and the server can confirm it. Their broths need to be made with vegan/ vegetarian broth! The Thai Tom yum, Szechuan, and soup options are nice but really spicy. The menu is online and they provide you WiFi. You order everything through the site and they bring it to your table. So to order vegan broth you have to tell a server as they don't provide an option on some of their options like the meat lover option. Celiacs beware! They do not have a gluten free soup option and every time we have had to go we have to get hot water. But you can still enjoy the meat and seafood if you bring your own gluten free soup base and some condiments. So we brought our own gluten free soy sauce and chili paste and made our own broth which tastes pretty good with the veggies and sides. Also, when you order make sure to tell them you have celiac and to make sure none of the noodles that have wheat come on top of the veggies. We ordered a side of udon for the non GF people and they stuck it on top of the veggies. The meat lover option is perfect for two or an extremely hungry single person. We have been here three times over the past month and we finally know what to do for dietary restrictions. They get busy during peak times, and require you to put your name on the waitlist.
