Do not stay here. There are massive security issues with this hotel. During my stay someone attempted to break-in to my ground floor room during the night. In the morning they returned and succeeded in opening the door. The security latch on the inside of the door was the only thing which prevented them from entering the room. In addition, the place was extremely unclean and run-down to an unsafe degree. The first room I checked into on the second floor had serious issues with the lock which prevented it from being opened by myself or by staff. The staff had to switch me to another room on the ground floor on my second night because no one could open the door (thankfully I had all my belongings with me). The faucet in that first bathroom was loose and broken, shaking like crazy when turned on. The buttons used to operate the toilet were broken. In both rooms I smelled marijuana smoke despite this being a non-smoking facility. Also the bathroom walls in both rooms were stained and filthy, the carpet was also very dirty. The banister leading upstairs was loose and parts of it were broken. The sidewalks were dirty. The common dining area was also unclean and unfit for food service. The garbage dumpster was overflowing with more than 10 trash bags scattered on the ground. The hotel staff were polite and tried their best to be helpful but seemed inexperienced and ill-equipped to handle or even understand the dire security situation; they were entirely unconcerned about the break-in. There is a large transient (homeless) population around this hotel. The rooms all have doors which are easily accessible to anyone off the street and are not supervised by security cameras. This place is not clean and it is not safe. It is my belief that homeless in the area are regularly using this hotel leading to the broken locks, filth, and extreme wear and tear. I would recommend that everyone look at different hotels with interior hallway rooms only and to bring a hotel door lock/ alarm if you are traveling alone. Again. Do not stay here. You will not be safe.

Comfortable nice rooms with a kitchenette. Good for long term stays. The front desk staff is friendly and helpful with any questions or needs. The breakfast is standard, they do have gluten free muffins for those with allergies like myself. The parking is $19 a day, which is a bit steep considering the price to stay The pool area is nice and appears to be fairly clean, I didn't go in as it's cold this time of year. The laundry room leaves something to be desired. The room is near the main entrance/pool area and the lock doesn't work so anyone can just walk in. The laundry room also could use some cleaning at least once a week. It's apparent it hasn't been cleaned in quite a while. The floor and machines are dirty with laundry soap leaking out of them and dirt/lint on the floors.

Enjoyed our stay at this location. Priced nicely and no issues to report. I learn my lesson of not staying in San Francisco, when planning to attend 49ers games, the hike back to San Fran at the conclusion of the game is excessive. Stay in the Santa Clara or San Jose and reduce the hassle. This is really all you need. Not too far from a bus stop and was able to do my laundry before departing.

I had a horrible experience at this location. The morning after the first night of my stay i realized a rat had been in my room and damaged my food and medication. I was disgusted ! They immediately transferred us to a different room. The second night we were woken by a loud continuous noise that went on all night. The noise came from a locked door in the room. It sounded like heavy machinery. After already being on alert and edge from the rat I didn't get any rest. I was denied a full refund despite my loss in groceries and medication and the Horrible experience.

Overall disappointing experience. Started off with a surprise $19/night parking which is ridiculous. Had to make multiple requests throughout the day to get replacement bedding when everytime I was told it would be taken care of. Refrigerator had some nasty crusty fluid on the inside, cobwebs throughout the room, toilet constantly running, grab bar to get in and out of the tup was not actually anchored into the wall, previous guests socks found in the room, barely enough hot water for my kid to take a bath, lots of road noise. Definitely would not choose this property again.

Nothing fancy but upkept pretty good they do have spiders lol...but mainly because its a woody area but overall cool place to stay at good food places across the street mom and pop places! It's clean most importantly. Now my only gripe is lmao when the housekeeping lady walk in on me taken a mean azz dump...because it was 2hrs before checkout time and maybe she didn't want to come back. I had told her like 3times before when she knocked im leaving at 12. Then hr later(it's not 12) knock..clearly I'm yelling im taken a shtttt bam door opens obviously I can't do nothing but yell hey I'm dooodoooing! Only reason i don't give it 5 because sis wanted me out of the room early. But overall I'd stay here aging my ass will put the security lock up next time I'm pooping. But overall place was cool asf! I did get a good laugh but damn sis can I finshing using the bathroom!! sis said hurry yo ass up

I enjoyed my stay here as I was attending the fitness competition at the Santa Clara Convention Center. Checking in was super easy and the staff are very welcoming. I was staying on the second floor of building 5. Little did I hear the freeway from my room. The room is spacious and has a useful kitchenette. The layout of the room is welcoming with a small sofa couch in the middle, a large closet and the bathroom area is bright. The bathroom comes with a hair dryer (useful) and the shampoo and conditioner and soaps are on the wall of the shower. I found everything in the kitchen area well equipped with the basic necessities for cooking. In the morning, I went to the complimentary breakfast. It was superb. There's a hot section and the best is making your own waffles! I was not aware of the $17 parking fee until I got to check in; But other than that, I really like staying at this location.

They have great breakfast options. I loved their biscuits and gravy. Large spacious 2-story room. I wish that the two bedroom units were one story and on the first floor, though. Room was clean. Pet friendly.

19 dollar parking omg. The hotel doesn't have decaf coffee and the breakfast is very disorganized. I suggest to find a better hotel one that is less greedy.

This is by far one of the best Residence Inns I have ever stayed at and I have stayed at a few (please see a couple of my reviews). Centralized location in the heart of Silicon Valley yet still quite homey and quiet. The room I stayed at is in the back, most further lot away from the office and the rec spaces and I like it. Top floor as well. The room is very clean and almost sparkling new. I did not use the dishwasher and coffee maker but all other appliances and amenities are great. One reason I love staying at a Residence Inn is the complimentary breakfast and although basic, it provided a much needed fuel in the morning. Eggs, sausage, oatmeal, fruits, bread and cereal are some of the option and of course fresh brewed coffee. Front desk was very helpful and accommodating. I was able to get a late checkout due to my status and also availability. If need be, I will stay here again!
