Each dish was extremely flavorful and dressed with extra spices & herbs. One word that describes the food is elevated. They take dishes and bring them to the next level. If you love brunch then you'll love the brunch vibe & the food. It's a great place to treat someone for a nice experience. Favorite items: heirloom tomato salad, brunch potatoes, cinnabiscut (brunch) Interior decor - so much to look at & enjoy. Guests were the Silicon Valley business type along with foodies. It feels like everyone knows this place is good. So make sure to make reservations in advanced. Parking at the hotel was free including valet. The host asks for your dietary restrictions when you check in. There is a vegan & vegetarian menu for brunch & dinner but you have to ask for it. We were able to modify most food items and have the sauce on the side. Staff are super knowledgeable. Great that you can eat at the bar. We always make reservations and come on time but twice we were asked to wait by the fireplace until our table was ready 5-7 mins wait.

Beautiful space - amazing for date night! Service is great and they gave good recs for all the food as well. Docking 1 point for food since almost everything was overly salty (maybe heavy handed that day). If it was slightly less salty, would be a strong 5 stars. FOOD: Spicy Handroll Dip (6/10) - Think spicy tuna + hamachi while using a chip to dip. Solid starter Grilled Caulfilower (8/10) - Favorite dish of the night! Was amazing String Beans (7/10) - Recommended by the waitress and was a very good dish! Was some of the best string beans I've had at a restaraunt Salmon (6/10) - Way too salty. was hard to get down especially since there aren't any carbs to help nullify the saltiness

I Had a chance to try Valley Goat and this was a wonderful experience. I went with the family and this is a nice spot going out with friends or even on a date night. The vibes are cozy and the interior is very cute. For food we ended up ordering: * Disco Fries - delicious with so much flavor, everyone loved this dish and kept munching on it. The zesty tangy flavor with the coconut caramel was divine * Chicken skewers - these were also delicious and very flavorful. The chicken was soft and tender, however, for the price we felt that the portion was very small * Skuna bay salmon - this was very yummy and well made and I really enjoyed the crispy brussel sprouts that it came with. They were nice and crunchy which I really liked munching on *Wood fired sprouted cauliflower - this was pretty yummy but much more on the simple side. You could tell it was wood fired which was nice and the sauce it came with was nice *Chickpea fritters - delish and unique, has a light Indian flavor but really thought this dish was really yum and would get again *sticky pork shank - this was yummy with fall of the bone pork shank in a sweet sticky sauce and came with lettuce wraps and sauce which was nice. The lettuce wraps made the dish feel lighter which was nice * branzino - our table really liked this dish as the fish was crispy and soft and went really really well with the pickled veggies. The sauce on this was delicious as well *sticky toffee pumpkin spice cake - this was ok, interesting flavor but couldnt taste the pumpkin as much *Mango with sticky rice - this was absolutely delish and a must try! Overall we had a really nice experience!

I came here with a girlfriend for a girl's session of food and yap. Staff is super friendly, food is portioned well, food is great, and the overall ambience is just top-notch. When you arrive onto the property, the nearby valet attendance greet you with a smile and offer to assist you with which direction to head over to. Upon entering the establishment, the hosts greets you (and your party) with a smile. The waiters and waitresses are all very much attentive here. I appreciate the menu is heavy on the vegetables and presentation of the food is very aesthetically pleasing. At first, when I saw the pricing, I was a little bit iffy, however, the more that I ate the more that it started to make sense to me. Details, matter here, all the way down to the table napkins. Each plate is carefully crafted; each of your taste buds will thank you later which each bite that you take. Everything on this menu down to the drinks - both alcoholic and mocktails were superb. Highly recommend coming here. And order the goat empanadas, they run out because they're so good!

The food was incredible and super tasty. We came for their brunch, highly recommend making a reservation before going as it does get busy. They specialize in farm to table. Everything tasted fresh. You can tell it quality ingredients. We've are very impressed at the buttermilk pancake. That was definitely my favorite. The ahi tuna salad with quinoa was delicious and healthy. The salmon dip is a muscat. The pita was nice and hot. And we also ordered the omelette dish, which was pretty tasty. I don't give much five stars so the Restaurant definitely impressed me.

This place is so good!! Definitely one of the best places in south bay. Very aesthetic interior as well Recommends: -the fried potato pancake was the favorite dish! So good!! -quinoa poke salad was great -yogurt, very good Ok: -Goat empanadas, the empanadas themselves are great, i found the goat meat a bit too gamey for me and needed the sauce for flavoring. But if u like that type of meat, the empanadas are rly great -Pancake- good but skippable for me -Pork belly- also good but skippable for me. Also portion of pork belly is just a couple bites. The tomatoes were great though

I was super excited when I discovered that my favorite Chicago restaurant opened its sister location here in Sunnyvale and I've already been back a couple of times. The space itself is gorgeous! Filled with plants, warm lighting, and a vibrant, modern feel. My favorite dishes so far are the crispy quinoa + tuna poke salad. I love the crispy quinoa so much that I'm seriously tempted to learn how to make it myself (it's that good). I also tried several other dishes: the empanadas, scones, matcha tres leches, and the potato crepe (available only during weekend brunch) that one was deliciously crispy and full of flavor. That said, I will note that the portions tend to be on the smaller side, so if you're going with a group or want to leave feeling truly full, it's good to plan for multiple dishes. I will definitely come back again! Tip: don't forget to check out the floral car at the hotel lobby! it's super cute!

Opening week lunch reservation took my cousin, brother, and me to Stephanie Izard's gorgeous new restaurant in Sunnyvale, but I procrastinated on this review. Really enjoyed her Chicago concepts, so was looking forward to the same level of cook and execution here. Chef Izard did come out and greet fans at the tables, which was very gracious of her. We ordered several appetizers and mains to share. The goat empanadas and chickpea fritters were excellent, and I also enjoyed the desserts. All the other dishes, from the spicy hand roll dip to the salmon bowl to the pork belly noodles to the three-sauce chicken were good, but not packing any wow factor. Many of the fusion flavor profiles were also similar for different dishes, and I wanted a wider range. Perhaps my expectations were too high, although I do hear that the brunch and dinner menus feature more standout items. It's just at this price point, and celebrity reputation, I expected more. I will certainly have other chances to re-evaluate, as I'm sure many of my friends will want to return.

Super Delicious!! My wife and I met my friend and his wife for lunch her last Sunday. This place is a hidden in a hotel gem!! Wow! The food is just wow! So delicious! Everything we had from Savory to Sweet dishes was fantastic! We ordered so many little tapas style (food sharing) that I forgot all the names of the dishes we ordered. I did take pictures so let your eyes do the feasting for you! The service was wonderful. Very helpful server and very personable! The ambiance is quite nice! Place to stay and have an enjoyable meal and spend company with friends all day long! We will be back to try the dinner soon! Please see the pictures!

I'll be honest: I've been to Girl and the Goat in Chicago in the past and frankly, was underwhelmed. So when I heard all the hype about Valley Goat in the Bay Area, I was cautiously optimistic. Well, sheit...Valley Goat brought it! From chic ambiance and decor to stellar service to fantastic food. It was broughten! Our server, Socrates, explained that most people go with family style, so that's what our party of six did. He had excellent suggestions (crispy quinoa with tuna poke salad) and when we ignored him the first time, he was quick to suggest it again and double down that we would not regret it. Hard to narrow it down because each menu item was unique and delicious in its own right, but my absolute favorite were the breakfast potatoes followed by the crispy quinoa tuna poke salad. Both are must-gets! I must say my least favorite (but only by a sliver) was the potato pancake. My end portion must have been just the hashbrowns because I didn't get one nub of sausage in mine (and it was a big serving). My friend said the same, but fiancé said his has some. It was also a bit shy with the flavor, but maybe it's because every other dish was so bold, it paled in comparison? Drinks were nice and refreshing, especially to wash down some of the rich, heavier dishes. Can't wait to come back for dinner.
