Excellent van, only problem was didn't provide a step stool to get in. was a 12 passenger van and some of us older folk had trouble getting in.

The car that was assigned to us was dirty/mud, it took us 30 minutes to clean the car from seats, middle console, steering wheel, door panel and then once we tried to plug the USB to charge our phones but the port was loose that it keep coming off (Red, Elantra with sunroof, white/cream interior) So we decided to get a different car a Volkswagen Jetta, it was clean enough but the fuel was not all the way filled so we informed the staff before driving the car off, they told us that it was fine. Once we returned the car, we if informed the staff again that we picked up the car without full gas so we left it the same way. We were told that it was fine! We even gave them 2-3 big water bottles since we couldn't bring them with us to the airport. Once checked in the airport, we noticed an extras charge on fuel which was misleading, why would they say it's fine then charge us for it. I will not recommending this to anyone at all because what if you're a busy mom with kids, lots going on and didn't notice the extra charge on your bill. Not good for business. I hope this is just a one time event and nobody else have this experience.

Aloha Team Hawaii!! =) Big location at the Honolulu airport. I had a reservation made online. We were picked up via Lyft from our hotel to the airport to pick up the vehicle. We met with agent-Chloe at the counter (I remembered her name as the perfume with same name was my favorite back in the late 80's/early 90's), she provided excellent service and provided us with the paperwork and information. We also met with one of the next agent in the parking garage (forgot her name sorry), she showed us to our vehicle and advised we could select our preferred vehicle. It was a swift 15 minute transaction from beginning to driving off. Upon returning the vehicle, met with an agent-Kayla (I remembered her name same as our daughter's). She was able to update and change the credit card for completing the payment transaction. Everyone was so very nice, happy and with beautiful smiles =) We would definitely use them again on our future trips.

We booked our rental car through Costco Travel. Enterprise rental rates are higher than say Alamo or Budget. Even though it's all under the same umbrella according to our customer service agent at the counter at HNL. Why choose Enterprise? Because of the drama with Alamo lately. System crashes, long lines, etc. At HNL we walked straight up to the counter. No lines. No drama. Confirmed the price as booked online. Showed our driver licenses and a credit card. No pressure to upsell us. Walked over to the garage. Gave our confirmation to Enterprise agent. We got a free upgrade as the car size we booked were out of inventory. Went from full size vehicle to an intermediate size SUV. Seven days later we returned the car. Gas tank checked. A final confirmation sent to the email we provided on record.

Mixed service. Front desk was very helpful but when I got to the garage, the good service ended. The employee in the garage was just sitting in a chair on her phone the whole time. She pointed at the car location and that was it. No walk through. No assistance. Gave no instructions. Was very offputting. Dont think I'd use them in Honolulu again.

We took a big family trip to Honolulu last month, with three children in car seats and all their attendant adults. There was no getting around it--we would have to rent a minivan just to get everyone to and from the airport. The Enterprise was in a consolidated rental car facility a bus ride away from HNL. Not right there, but reasonably convenient, and our kids enjoyed the extra travel. There was a short line to rent, and we had no trouble finding our car. The best thing I can ever say for a rental car company is that there were no problems, and I'm happy to report that our Enterprise experience was smooth all the way through. My mother dealt with the logistics and my husband drove, so my main contribution was sitting in the middle seat of the back row, wedged between my two kids' car seats any time we went out for a drive. This was not the most comfortable set-up, but I think everyone else fared better, and between the trunk and the various aisles, there was plenty of room for all our stuff. I understand why people love their minivans. Our ride was a Chrysler Voyager, apparently a stripped-down Pacifica that was, until recently, only sold to rental car companies. The car was fine, not luxurious, but clean and functional and full of gas. We enjoyed our visit to the minivan life, and would use Enterprise again on our next family trip to Oahu.

The line to check in for car was slow, only drawback. Car was ready! Car was clean, dinged a bit but satisfactory. All the cars were dinged. Toyota Camry=great gas mileage and we drove all over for 4 days! Car was well maintained.

What can you say about an airport rental car place? I mean I know one thing I can say is that Thomas just gave us the best service checking us in that I have ever experienced. Greeted us kindly, helped us quickly and answered all my pregnant wife's questions to the fullest. Thanks Thomas. Enterprise is our go to on vacation in Hawaii going forward just because of you.

Shady company I would never rent from this company Ever again! Not safe and poor supervision of staff I had a horrible experience I went to pick up my car and I had to go to the bathroom I was escorted down long hallway and while I was going to the bathroom the door shut. I was locked in the bathroom The handle had been broken off with a mallet or a hammer There were no windows no one there I thought I was gonna die!! I screamed bloody murder Help! and it was something I am use to so I knew I was in trouble and screamed like my life depended on it! The door finally opened I was blamed for locking myself in the bathroom I got into the car shaking and the vehicle smelled like sex! i felt dirty and took it to the nicest wash in town and thanked my lucky stars I was alive No I would not recommend

When Arriving, from our Terminal we walked a bit through the Airport & took an escalator down & out to the main street & took the free Car Rental Shuttle. The Shuttle drops you off, which is convenient... Then you have to get back up the escalator or elevator to the upper level where all the rental cars are. Just follow the signs. After that, it's easy. Best Car Rental Experience ever! Mahalo! Thank You Gina for your kind & warm welcome! :D Made the rental car selection process super easy. We were amazed at how easygoing everyone is & how smooth picking a rental car was. Shoutout to Geoffrey for dealing with the mishap with my credit card & for executing everything in the rental agreement. Also Thank You for the Food Recommendations too!! :D I got the Full Sized Car that I booked & it was good for 5 passengers. Even though it was a smaller car than I'm used to, a Toyota Camry, we were able to fit 5 carryon luggages plus some backpacks in the trunk... We drove to the North Shore & back to Honolulu a few times & gas was great... Returning the rental was a Breeze! Tips: - Don't forget to fully inspect the car for dings & huge scratches before you take off with it - And also check again for dings & scratches before returning the vehicle - Make sure you have the same credit card used when booking for prompt service - Additional Drivers younger than age 25 require an additional fee - Bring back vehicle with the same amount of gas
