I swore I would never walk into this location 5 years ago , and I unfortunately made the mistake of ordering through door dash which led me back to this place . I ordered a salad in a bowl that was half empty. Many veggies were missing, and the steak looked like a couple crumbs worth of meat. Unreal how they still operate so poorly after all of these years . Thanks, I'm still hungry .

That people still come here is beyond me. Reading other reviews, it seems my experience was similar to others'. The one time I went, the dude who was there was on his Bluetooth talking and he was generally rude. Fine, whatever. I didn't go to socialize, I went to eat. He started making my sandwich and as I watched, he reached up to adjust his in-EAR device, then promptly resumed food prep. WTF?? I stared in disbelief as he asked me what else I wanted, looked him in the eye, and turned on my heel and left. He hollered at my back "WHAT ELSE". I guess he was in disbelief as much as I, but screw that douche. You DONT do that working in the food industry. Gross mfer.

If I could give a negative 5 star review I would. This location is the BY FAR the worst subway location you'll ever go to. I'm surprised that the company hasn't shut this location down. The guy I dealt with was Canny (probably mispelled name), all he does is talk on his bluetooth, and make your sandwich with what he wants, not what you want. He doesn't wear a hat, his hair sheds everywhere, and he doesn't wear gloves. I hope the Chicago Department of Public Health shuts this place down.

worst subway ever. the guy was talking on his bluetooth the whole time he was making my sandwich. he's now mopping the floor and talking even louder. ugh

This Subway was pretty good when it first opened. However, like many businesses, bad employees gave it a bad name. The last two times I went in, the sandwiches were lousy. Not to mention that I had to wait for the girl behind the counter to finish sending a text before I could give my order. I won't be going back there. And FYI, just because you have gloves doesn't mean that you get to skip washing your hands after you've come from outside. This isn't brain surgery, although like brain surgeons, Subway sandwich makers should wash their hands prior to engaging in work.

The owner has always been very friendly and goes all out to greet his customers, we used to go all the time when it was in the intersection but they moved now and it is a couple more blocks to walk. It's not too far but their parking lot didn't get any better. However the worker there is always on the phone, and in a bad mood. He never gives me the order how I want it and always gives me a hard time. It's just not pleasant going there. I thought it was only me because I walk in and it looks as if I'm interrupting him sweeping and then he takes my order without a "hello" or "how are you". Then other people he apparently knew walked in and he's having a complete conversation while I'm ordering my sandwich. Needless to say I would much rather have an extra drive 10 extra minutes to the next subway than coming here. I just completed stop going when it used to be one of my closest stops. And somewhere I can sit comfortably and not have some one mugging me the whole time I'm eating.

The owner of this location moved down the street from near Elston a few months ago, with hopes that the new location would increase customer traffic. The store is very clean and the owner is very nice, but unfortunately he is cutting corners that have caused my friends and I to travel a few blocks south to the next Subway location. There has never been tea available, the bread frequently tastes and feels like yesterday's leftover bread, and a couple of the sauces aren't available that are at every other Subway I have been to. Subway has a Tuscan Chicken sandwich with a really tasty pre-seasoned chicken on it, but instead of using the same chicken as other locations they used plain chicken pieces and sprinkled some type of seasoning on top of it while making the sandwich. I had high hopes that this location would be great for the neighborhood and the owner, but cutting corners is costing him customers!
