My mother called them for a ride home from dialysis. They assured her they would be there. They did not show up.

Have used them before. Called today to confirm my appointment because I didn't get a reminder and the guy was a total asshole. He said "how many reminders do I need?" When I started to question him he said "fuck you" and hung up on me. Tried calling back and it went straight to voicemail. Sad that they lost my business cuz I had used them several times before

I booked two rides, both several weeks in advance. The first ride, the company cancelled half an hour out but immediately called and fixed the issue. I was a little worried, but wrote it off. My second ride was coming from the airport at night. They assigned me two cabs. One they immediately canceled, and the other was after I called the company, seeing they rebooked the wrong type of car (we had originally booked a van and they gave us a Prius) The entire time (both times) the app was glitching, and now I am stuck at the airport at 11 at nights and still have not received a new taxi assignment. We are renting a car.

Horrible experience trying to get them to pick me from navy pier. Driver kept passing me by repeatedly even though I called him to tell him. American taxi dispatch is also useless - never manned, no one answers or can help coordinate. Horrible customer service. Eventually had to call a Lyft but driver needs to be banned.

I would not use this company. The quality of their vehicles is very questionable! On our last trip, the dash of the car had just about every maintenance warning light on! The driver was pleasant, but it's hard to have faith in a company where you worry if the car will get you to your destination!

I am a regular client. I use their app to schedule both the trip to ORD and the return. It's so easy. If you include the flt number in the scheduled pick up at ORD or Midway they flex the pickup if the plane is late or early. When they pick me up at my house they are always early. I get a text 30 minutes in advance letting me know the driver will be on time and a link to see where he is relative to my pickup. It's soooo cool. I won't use anyone else.

NO SHOW. I scheduled a taxi a week before my trip for a 2:45 am pickup to O'hare. my order was confirmed immediately and then confirmed again the night before. 15 minutes before the taxi was to arrive at my house, I received the following text American Taxi Dispatch Your order #472845 has not been assigned yet. We are still working to fill your ride and will send car# and ETA when available. Reply 1 to keep waiting, 2 to cancel I also got a several automated phone calls. They had a full week to find a driver and could not dispatch anyone the day of. I waited for a taxi for about 10 minutes. And I kept getting the same message on the phone. I then called an Uber who was at my house in seven minutes. I am deleting the app and I'm NEVER NEVER NEVER using this company again!!!!! Soooo unreliable! A taxi company leaving a customer stranded. TERRIBLE!!!

I ordered a cab 40 minutes before I needed it at the Joliet Metra station. The driver was a few hundred feet from me and I called to see exactly where. He then got lost and cancelled. I lost an hour of my time. Can't recommend this dispatch company. By the time Uber arrived to pick me up after this mess, the next metra train had arrived so it'd been a full hour.

The app is spotty. Could get logged on even though I use AT all the time. Had to use a regular cab instead. Very disappointing.
