Did this place change ownership? They used to be so nice. I stopped in today and bought a couple cigars. While I was sitting in the lounge, an employee came over and asked me to move my foot because the heel of my shoe was resting on the leather chair. It honestly wasn't intentional but c'mon, that was a bit extreme. I'll take my future business to Cigar King in Skokie, where the staff is always lovely.

This is my go to stop for my cigars. Large selection. However, I've noticed a huge amount of the cigars have mold. I understand the business side of trying to keep your inventory up but when your inventory has mold and you don't remove them from display, that's where I turn away because it's going to make me question the value of the store owner and also the quality of the cigars in the humidor. I come on a weekly or biweekly basis for my purchases and right when you walk in, Plasencia is to your left and all the new ones that have come out all have mold. Whole boxes of cigars in the humidor contain mold when you really pay attention. I'm a lover of the leaf and to me quality needs to be #1 before quantity.

I will echo the comment left by Ashour: this place will gauge you! I walked in with a simple mission of getting the latest Drew Estate Freestyle kit. Should be a simple task as the kit is in a nice cardboard box with an MSRP of $40. SOOO, when you go place to place or online retailers: its the same price or at least should be. My local shop had them online, but sold out before I had a chance to buy it. As I was visiting Chicago (my old home), I trekked out to these guys about 5 miles from our office. Just to recap: my LCS sells them for $40, Atlantic Cigar sells them for $39.95. Brick and mortar stores and online stores all around $40. These guys? You ready? $80! I asked the guy if it was mismarked by accident, he said "No". I tried to explain to him its a $40 promo event pack, not a hard to find Opus X,etc. He just had a blank stare. So I turned around, shaking my head and left. They have been around for a while, as I have passed this shop many times; but this was the first time I walked in. Not sure who exactly supports a business that treats consumers this way.

Decent humidor and selections, spacious lounge with plenty of TVs for sports but management does not seem engaged with customers. Not a bad place to go but also not a can't miss.

Good help for a beginner. To get into the lounge you needed to pay $30 which was tough but understandable. Watched the us soccer game and smoked some good cigars. It was a good time!

Stopped in to check the spot out when I was in the neighborhood. Very nice selection of sticks and the lounge was a very big open room with a bunch of tvs and several sitting areas. Staff was nice. It was a Thursday afternoon, so not crowded. They had a box of Opus X Lost City (really, they did) so I grabbed one and knocked out some work. Fantastic cigar but worth the price? I don't know, maybe. But to pay $50 to get that smoke and knock out some work while watching the Open Championship is an absolute bargain. I also grabbed a few special edition Rocky Patels that blew my socks off. Ill be back.

Great selection but they love to overcharge and price gouge. For example, when their Drew Estate events are over they sell the leftover "event only" cigars for $50 a piece when they cost about $18 during the event. Don't care to support a business like this.
