The manager of this hotel is the worst I've ever experienced. He is rarely at the desk -- I even saw him shopping at Walmart when staff said he was "busy working." In the end, he never solved the situation and only made it worse. This was the most insane hotel experience I've ever had. On Friday the 26th, it was a beautiful day, so I went to sit by the pool. A sign said the pool was closed, but since I didn't plan to swim, I thought there was no issue with simply sitting on a chair. Out of nowhere, a man in a wheelchair, claiming to be maintenance, shouted at me: "Get the f*** out of here!" Shocked, I showed him my room key and asked him to stop speaking to me like that. I even called the front desk for the manager, but he wasn't available. Minutes later, this same worker returned with two police officers -- all because I was sitting by the closed pool. The officers quickly realized how absurd it was, didn't even ask for ID, and soon left. Yet the worker remained rude and aggressive. I waited for the manager, but he never showed. This was not only insulting but shameful for the hotel. No maintenance worker should treat guests like this or call police over something so trivial. That responsibility belongs to the front desk. Later, I even learned this wasn't his first time -- he has a history of causing conflicts and calling police unnecessarily. When I finally spoke to the manager, he was extremely rude. His only response was: "Yes, the maintenance guy has the right to call police if a guest enters a closed pool area." That explains why this hotel has so many bad reviews.

Stay away! The online pictures are so deceiving. After checking in we noticed all of the horrendous details, its an eye sore on the outside but our room was disgusting and damaged. We went to go get food and there was homeless people walking around outside, the gf thought they would try to break in while we were away, so we just requested to get refunded and leave. See the attached pics or the outside and inside. The manager was rude and fiery to us and didnt believe our complaints. He only gave us a one day refund because my girlfriend "used the restroom". Luckily our booking company gave us a full refund after we sent them pictures. Yikes.

Whew and yikes. When I was looking for a place to stay in the Louisville area for my short two day visit, I did my research beforehand and feel like I was misled by what I saw online. So let's get into it, here we go. When I did arrive to check in I was asked if I could come back in thirty minutes because the rooms were not ready yet. I obliged, but I want to point out that I wasn't early in any way, I was on time. I wasn't the only person in the predicament. There were several people in the lobby that were just kind of hanging out waiting to check in. For that half hour, I decided to go outside and make a few phone calls. As I paced on my phone calls I noticed that the exterior of this place gives off some weird vibes. Maybe it's because it abuts an abandoned RV park (complete with a grown over miniature golf course). The parking lot for the hotel is far too big for as much as it is used. I went back inside and finally was able to check in. But it was really irritating. All those people that were waiting when I first showed up were all in line again. Add to that, only having one person running the desk, made it longer. Funny, that half hour before, you more than likely had the rooms ready, but you didn't want to do the work so close to the end of your shift. Once checked in you are told about how to get to your room, and it's highly confusing. There is an A wing area and an I wing area. Why the letters are so far apart, no idea. I was in the I wing area and it's a hike to get there from the lobby. Honestly, once you get your key, it might be easier to get in your vehicle and drive the length of the building and park near a door closer to your room. Let me tell you about the walk from the lobby. Get a pen an paper so you can jot these directions down. Once you are done in the lobby area head straight towards the pool area, make sure to take in a big breath of the chlorine. At the end of the walkway that overlooks the pool, turn right. Walk into an atrium/sunroom type of hallway that also doubles as the outer perimeter of the onsite restaurant. If you visit during the summer, prepare to feel like you are being cooked. If it is like this during the summer, I would suggest brining a jacket for the winter. After you get past the restaurant...phew, I need to take a breath here...do a zigzag and then go to the end of that hall, turn left. Then open the glass door, you have finally reached the I wing. Now, try to figure out where your room is. Remember my suggestion to drive to a door closer. My room was directly inside one of the doors...*cringe face* My room, on top of being next to an entrance, was also right next to the elevators, ice machines, and vending. To say it was noisy would be an understatement. The ice machines leaked the entire time that they just gave up on trying to fix it that they just put a wet floor sign there instead. My room...yikes. It was dated and in need of an update, horribly. At first glance, and in the right light, it doesn't look like there is anything wrong with the room. But then you see what is really going on. The pros - fridge, ample storage, comfortable bed. The cons, lets get into it. The bathroom overall is a nightmare. The light fixture above the sink was broken, but what detracts you from that is the drop down ceiling in the bathroom. Yes, it's not a tall ceiling to begin with, but they put a drop ceiling in it. The water pressure was low and it took forever to get a shower in. The hinges to the door are completely rusted, no matter how many coats of paint you put on it, it still bleeds through. The overall bathroom is just late 80s/early 90s. The rest of the room probably just needs some attention. Replace the carpet for sure. The curtains, broken and awkward. The chair at the desk is overused. I didn't even attempt to sit in the other chair in the room. The television was hard to use, no matter what I did, the volume was either too loud or too low. Thank god I was only here for two nights, I knew I had my escape. Checking out was really easy. I loaded my car up and went to the front desk to say I was out.

This is a dump. It's hard to properly convey our disappointment and downright disgust. The hotel was old, dated and dirty and that trying to charitable. A few lowlights: - dirty rag left behind in a decrepit elevator - room overlooked a dumpster that was in disarray - walls cracked and badly in need of fresh paint - no ventilation in bathroom - desk chair vinyl was ripped and torn - carpet was filthy This hotel is way past its expiration date. You've been warned. Stay here at your own risk.

Budget-Friendly but Needs a Renovation. (2.5 stars) I stayed in this Radisson Property for a few days while in the Louisville area for business. This hotel is located across the bridge from Louisville in Clarksville Indiana. This hotel has a main part and 'wings' as my room was in the I wing. My room was very dated with old, dented and scratched furniture. The carpet was old and stained and there was food and debris left over from previous guests. The bed was big and comfortable and the wifi was okay for the bulk of my stay although I had some issues connecting the first night. The bathroom was an 'accessible' bathroom made for someone with a walker or wheelchair. The bathrooms are clean but there is no fan in the bathroom just a vent hole in the ceiling. There is a useless heat lamp on the bathroom ceiling with a timer but it doesn't help with clearing out steam after a shower. One more item to be aware of for the accessible bathroom. If you take a shower the whole bathroom floor will get soaked no matter how you aim the the shower head. The rest of the hotel has some great amenities. The hotel has a restaurant and bar with live entertainment. Breakfast is not included so you will have to pay for it. The hotel has an outdoor and an indoor pool and walking areas that take you around the hotel. The property has a man-made pond in the back with benches that you can sit on. The fitness room is large and has modern cardio equipment, a mat, and a free-weight rack with a significant amount of dumbells missing. The missing dumbells mean that security is lax so be warned. There are no water coolers or disinfectant wipes in the fitness room so bring your own to wipe down the equipment before you use it. The hotel is okay for a one or two-night stay but the room I stayed in needs a good cleaning and a renovation to modernize the room. The ground room I stayed in had a sliding, screened door so you could sit outside on the concrete step just outside of the room. Overall this a budget-friendly option for the Louisville area but be warned the rooms in my wing were very outdated.

Can't take your shoes off here! Do not be fooled by the lobby or online pictures. Thought this was a brothel, crack hotel, or where the state puts pedophiles. Front desk staff, disgustingly rude. Literally like talking to a wall. The dude at night, scary and just a jerk. The woman in the meaning have attitude when we attempted to say, "The room needs cleaned". She pursed her lips and shook her head like we were having a language barrier. Used razor in the shower, fixtures falling off the walls, refrigerator was hot inside, holes in all bedding like cockroaches or some insects have been dining on them, curtains stained, hairs all over in the bathroom, and the smell, my God, the smell. DO NOT take your family here! DO NOT waste your money! The health department needs to shut this shit hole down! Added bonus picture ...

Save your money and avoid this place. Dirty, and ran down. I checked in went to my room and left. First off I didn't even get what I paid for. Didn't ask for a refund either. I should have known better.

Radisson Hotels North Louisville, you suck. 1st room provided to me - occupied. 2nd room - smelled like mold and mildew. 3rd room - occupied my friends that we were traveling with. 4th room looked fine. Took off my shoes and the carpet was soaking wet. Hotel staff was great (Jenny) and felt bad, so they gave us a "suite". Ha! Just a really big room. Looked fine and I accepted it. Took off my shoes, walked in front of the sink and the carpet was soaking wet. Threw down 2 big towels and called the front desk. Told them it was soaked and to bring me a lot more towels. I was OVER IT! Went to the bar/restaurant. Air conditioner broke. Bartender (very nice) give me a margarita. Made it in a very tiny martini glass. 9$ please. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? I'm like dude, come on...gave me another one for free. Was going to put it back in the martini glass and I asked him to put it in a plastic cup, which he did and poured the excess into the martini glass. SCORE! Went back to "suite" and Dave couldn't figure out the TV. No regular channels, just a lot of apps. Air conditioner didn't function very well and I needed it after riding 411 miles in the heat. Thank goodness I carry a fan. After calling in Doordash, I started to crawl into bed. Something little and black was slinking around on my side of the comforter. What the hell is that? Squish. Pulled back the covers and there were little black ants crawling in it. Nice. Thankfully only 2 that I could find. Double squish, but I had the creepy crawlies all night. No complimentary breakfast, no coffee. I will note that on the door of the hotel it did say that they were working on the roof because of storm damage but come on. There was a pool do you think I would have crawled into that? Who knows what bacteria or fish awaited. Was never so happy to crawl into my own bed. PS: They charged me for the room anyway. I would have given this no stars but the staff tried.

The lobby area was very nice. Until you sat in the comfy looking chairs in the lobby that your arms stuck to. Room had a burn imprint of of iron. The curtain had a large rip in it, then the thick shade you pulled at night had some type of black on it, bit sure if it was a burn or what. Floor is extremely dirty, don't walk bare footed, its gross! Then after a long day come in to chill and the TV won't turn on. Called the front desk and she said there wasn't anybody that could help til tomorrow when maintenance comes in....um no thanks we are out of this nasty place early morning. No back on the remote. There isn't a microwave, the desk chair is fake leather that is cracked and peeling so bad the chair needs taken to the garbage. The plug-ins are an adapter style plug in they have added. The ones under the desk have a thick layer of dust on them. The bathroom toilet sits very low. They give you 2 towels, 2 hand towels and 2 washcloths. The bathroom toilet ran off and on all night. The hallway smelt horrible....the elevator floor is all jacked up you can feel a dip in the floor but they have placed a rug over it so you can't see it. Just a very disappointing stay all around.
