Second time here. Got the Champ pizza with light on the olives. The first time I got it, the olives were overwhelming so this time I got light olives and it was perfect. Love the thin crust. My guy got the spaghetti and meatballs with cheese melted on it and added pepperoni - kinda like a baked spaghetti. He liked it but said it was a little bland. I tried two different flavor wings with garlic buffalo and Nashville hot. The wings were not my favorite because they weren't fried. But I should have asked if they were fried or baked. The sauces on the wings were just okay. Not hot at all. Nashville hot should make your nose run. Couldn't taste any garlic in the garlic buffalo. Still a great place for pizza. Service was good. Place was clean. I will go back but probably only get the pizza. I did order the lasagna to-go but haven't tried it yet. Hopefully it's good. It looked good and nice and full - very thick.

First time ordering for pickup as an online order. Got there at 1:30pm on a Friday, there's nobody working the counter. Nobody in the dining room. Finally got someone's attention in the back... order was not ready already 10 minutes past promised time. Cheese bread was really good, pizza wasn't bad but for the price honestly it was not a good value. I'll stick with the Pizza Hut in Jeffersonville as they are very consistent and have good deals. Too much $$ for average at best pizza here

The black of the house did a wonderful job ! We got the XL hot honey pepperoni pizza and as an appetizer the pepper jack cheese curds . The server asked if we wanted appetizers we ordered the cheese curds 2 drinks . Our pizza came out before our appetizer . Which was disappointing.and the expensive price tag for the amount . The pizza itself was thin crust and delicious She never came back . No refills we had to ask for our own to go box and walk up to the counter to pay instead of the table . We were completely forgotten . Won't be returning .

I had ordered Doordash from another location before so I was very excited when a location opened near my mother's home. I had been reading mixed reviews about experiences here, but wanted to check it out on my own. It was pretty busy when I arrived but I was greeted quickly. I love the nod to local high school sports on the walls. It was good to see my Alma Mater Providence represented! The line moved quickly and my order was ready on time. Albeit I need to try dining in, but my to go experience was pleasant and my meat pizza was hearty and very good! The meatball appetizer was delicious as well. We will absolutely visit many times in the future.

Food was good, but we sat there for several minutes prior to anyone approaching us, they were not busy, 1 other table besides ours. As we walked in 3 ladies were at the counter chatting, and when they did arrive at the table she said oh I didn't see you come in. Never checked on us, and when she brought our ticket didn't ask if we needed anything else or said thank you for coming in. Then we proceeded to check out, and there was the infamous trio again chatting by the register, two of them behind the counter, and the third was laying over the counter on the restaurant side, one of the girls told her she had to move so we could check out. Your servers need to pay closer attention to the guests that come to your restaurant. Very tacky. And her actions did reflect in her tip, we are very good tippers, but she got the 18% this evening.

I was happy to see Derby City Pizza Company was moving in where Pizza Hut was in the past. PH moved further away from home and I stopped buying it. PH seemed to be declining in quality anyways. Today was the Grand Opening for Derby City in Jeffersonville so I wanted to be first reviewing it. I looked up the menu online and went through the motions to purchase through the website. It gave me a price, but I called it in. If you hear a sweet voice on the phone, you've been blessed to speak with Haleigh. Every business should have Haleigh answer their phone. She has a pleasant voice and temperament to match. I ordered the pizza over the phone and was quoted a higher price, about $4 more. I got in my car and ran over to the store to speak with someone and start my review. I met Haleigh in person and Manager, Mike. I told Mike what I found concerning online prices and store prices. He was surprised to hear about this, but said he would look into it. He gave me the 15% military discount and introduced me to the building owner who was a personable Navy Master Chief. We had a good conversation, including the pricing issue. The Master Chief introduced me to the business owner, Larry Davis who immediately got on the phone with his people concerning the pricing issue. Larry told me his people were already working on it and will get it corrected. The store is like brand new with a fabulous, covered, outside patio. The inside is nice and includes a private room for parties and a separate bar. I hear some electronic games are going to be added soon. There are several TV's to watch sports. Derby City is definitely an upgrade to the last occupant of this space. The pizza is normally thin crust or add $3 or $4 for thick crust. I really like the taste of the sauce and wifey and I have moved to thin crust for several years now. The pizza was cold by the time I got home due to me talking so long at the restaurant. I still liked it. The grandkids ate some, but wifey doesn't care for cold pizza. That's on me. I would definitely order from Derby City again. Perhaps the wife will like it hot next time. They also have appetizers, toasted subs, pasta, lasagna, salads and wings. I trust this is a great addition to Jeffersonville and has an easy location to get in and out. The entire staff was friendly and willing to bring customer satisfaction as Larry gave me the difference of online price and store price. Again, that should be corrected any day now.

This will be a short review as it is my 2nd one on this location. Service taking a carry out order was okay. So I had a little wait so decided I'd have a beer. My second time now to sit down at the bar like the first. Again totally ignored for over 10 minutes. There were 3 people in the bar and bartender only made one drink for the dining room. When she finished she went back to talk to 1 gentleman that was probably there too long already. I'm not sure what was going on; I checked I didn't stink! I finally voiced up and asked if I could get a beer. Maybe her first day but it doesn't matter she should be able to pick up a new customer form 3 in the bar. She dint know how to turn the lights on. Anyway got my pizzas from Sage B who was a good staff; she brought my pizzas to me when finished. Now Kimberly P; she had to get it together. Good pizza but bar help; not so good! Back to New Albany if we need Derby City pizza or back to Bearnos. Jeffersonville needs some work! My order was 1 large, 1 medium and cheesy bread! The food was good!

Pros and cons for this new location in Jeffersonville. The servers were super and the layout really nice. The bar is good with garage doors opening when the spring arrives. We ordered the Champ and it was very salty. I thought because the green olives. We ordered another Champ pizza today without olives. Unfortunately, still salty. The salty that makes you lock your jaws together. I don't mean to be over dramatic; however, I would want to know. I called them afterwards and told them the circumstances and I did not want any kind of credit. They said okay and pretty sure nothing will change. I really want Derby Pizza to be successful here in Jeffersonville is the reason I'm posting.

You are better off just getting takeout. The service sucks but the food is good. If you do decide to go in to eat you will need to go to the front counter to order your food or use the app. The servers and bartenders are useless. Good thing is you don't need to tip you do all the work.
