Uber is an easy app to load and set up on your phone. Whether you use it on a regular basis or not, it's a back up plan that all drivers should have at their fingertips. The app gives you an opportunity to enter where you'd like to go and see prices for the ride, by type of car. Larger cars are available for bigger parties. Once you've secured the ride you get the driver's name and location. You can also dial the driver in case of an issue (for example, some pick up spots are confusing). The app gives you an opportunity to leave tips and rate drivers. Overall, I've had a good experience with Uber. Most drivers have been friendly and make a comfortable spot; however, I do wish that Uber offered a discrete "block" feature for some drivers to ensure they don't pick me up again.

I plan to stop ordering Uber Eats. About a month ago the driver went to the wrong condo complex. Then tonight the driver did call to tell me she was here but she didn't hand deliver my meal, instead leaving it in the lobby where it could have been easily stolen. I also am unhappy because it was difficult finding out how to complain to Uber about these matters. I finally found a chat option through my app but gave up after it took too long to reach a real person.

I paid the driver $40 cash for a $27.97 fare. Then Uber charged my credit card an additional $27.97.

My driver was extremely inept at giving me verbal directions on where to go to find his car. "I am under the sky", is an NOT accurate way to describe where your car is located. Then he had the nerve to ask me if I was able to speak English because I didn't understand that extremely helpful description of where his car was located. Then to add injury, my $34 Uber ride was charged at almost $65. NEVER AGAIN UBER!

I use to enjoy this company even though drivers could never find my house. Never understood why when my address is posted large on garage and mailbox. This new experience really rubbed me wrong. Due to car in shop I had Walgreens send my med to house. They used Uber and the lovely driver decided not to bring my medicine but keep it! Wow....

Louisville Ky Friday 3/24/2023 This is the worse experience with Uber . I should give a zero star for this Uber in Louisville Ky The driver name Abel with a red Dodge Journey license A8K344 was confirmed to pick me up and drop me off at Greyhound bus station at Muhammad Ali St. in Louisville KY, however at around 20 minutes before promised pick up time, he drove half way then notified me that there was an accident that occurred on the way and he wouldn't pick me up. He also stated that he was unable to cancel the ride. I tried several times to communicate with him via phone and text hopeful that Uber head quarter would provide us another ride unsuccessfully . However On the locator car map , it showed that he turned around to pick somebody up at the airport . I also got charged for the amount of $ 36 something dollars due to the cancellation ride that was never provided to customer. Because of the dishonest, unprofessional manner of this Abel driver , I missed my scheduled Greyhound bus to Columbus Ohio and also get $ 60 penalty fee for cancellation. I request an explanation from Uber as well as this driver named Abel with a Red Dodge Journey licensed # A 8K344 about this incident. I also request a full refund of $96 for the penalty that I have to pay regarding the missed Greyhound trip and the cancellation fee from Uber . That not included the financial loss from business trip that I missed in Columbus Ohio and the emotional damage that this driver unprofessional manner had caused. Almost run over this evening by Uber driver. Market and Campbell cross walk in Louisville. Uber driver speeding like a bat out of hell and, rather than stop, he honks his horn as I'm midway across street. Yes, I looked before I stepped off the curb. One more step and I'd now be in a hospital emergency room with broken bones -- if I survuved at all. This occured about 6:15 Thursday evening. Driver is reckless and should be disciplined.

Have you been ripped off by Uber? I have twice now. I use it often, with no issues. This is the second Time that a driver called me from 3 blocks away from the address I entered, insisting I go in and correct the address. And the I was billed!! HORRIBLE SERVICE!

Uber has been my life saver a numerous amount of times. Not only is it dirt cheap, but it is truly an app that has added so much safety to this city. It's great to get to choose the size/luxury, as well as how many people need to fit in the car. The drivers I've experienced are for the most part friendly, and are great drivers. I believe the fare is one of the cheapest from all of the ride sharing apps. When I get lugged around downtown, I typically only pay around 6-15$. Some Ubers can even take you long distances, I've heard of one taking a girl from Kentucky to Florida!! What I dislike is that it can be hard to get an Uber on the weekdays. With Louisville being a smaller city, the demand is incredibly less and there aren't a lot of drivers if it's not the weekend. Overall Uber has made such a positive impact on drunk driving, and I can see it sticking around the Ville for quite a while.
