Cute, small, divey..... but make it GAY ‍ Qiqi maybe small but she is fierce. I gave it 4 stars only because of its size, there's not much seating. BUT it is so so so nice to have a gay bar outside of downtown that is welcoming to women as well. Honestly it sucks that the gay bars downtown turn their nose up at queer women that are willing to spend their money.... but I digress... I QiQi. They usually have yummy pop up restaurants here too to feed your appetite and your soul. Yay! Happy Pride!

Majority of the queer bars are in the French Quarter area so it was cool hearing there was one in the Uptown area. Their official grand opening wasn't too long ago and this is definitely more of a laid back spot. They play great music (duh), have solid drink prices, and a few outdoor tables and bar stools to utilize for seating. QiQi team is very friendly and always a pleasure chatting with. Hope to see this establishment keep their doors open! They also serve food here so you can tame your hanger monster within.

Tee-niny gay bar uptown. Love that there is a casual gathering place that caters to my LGBTQ friends. I stopped in because it was late and I was starving. They kindly whipped up some veggie friendly potato skins. So 80s and so delicious. Solid drinks and friendly environment. It is small but they also have tables outside if the weather permits.

Hello uptown queer-friendly bar! First, what is a gay bar? It's not enough to just put up a rainbow flag. To me, a sense of inclusion and an atmosphere of acceptance are must haves. This place has all of the above, plus a cozy and inviting ambiance inside with ample picnic table seating outside. The bartender offered to make my friend creative mocktails- add these to a menu and create a safe sober space to expand the party! I know, I know, this is a bar...but let's include as many as possible so we can all have a safe and fun night out. Note: don't be an LGBTourist- orientation is not entertainment.

QiQi is great! I used to go when it was Aline St Beer Garden and am loving the new LGBTQ friendly digs. They're great about giving you a heads-up on events and daily pop-ups on their Instagram @qiqinotquiqui. Check it out! Whenever able, I'm a regular at their Thursday showings of RuPaul's Drag Race. The place gets packed and I absolutely love when the whole bar hoots and hollers at the TV screens. This is the proper way to watch a show! While their pop-ups are daily, my other reason for hitting it up on Thursdays is the joie de vie pop-up. Those pizzas are BOMB and the owner Rob is a super nice guy who will customize whatever you want (hold the onions for me, please)! Their happy hour is from 4-8 Mon through Fri and includes $5 double wells. Think solo-cup-huge! It's almost 7pm, what are you waiting for??!!

It's the only gay bar in uptown and therefore the best one! Cheep drinks, cool bartenders and a surprisingly good spirit selection. A welcome addition to the area.
