We sat in one of the “wooden sheds” on the sidewalk. At the beginning it took some time until we could order, the service seemed a bit slow. However, this improved during our stay. Very friendly and professional staff. The food (every single dish, from starters to main courses) was excellent. The portions however, were quite small for the price (even from a European perspective). Our conclusion: At Cipriani the service is faster, the food selection is better, the prices are a little “cheaper” and everything is as tasty (or better) than here

Came for a weekday lunch, and the restaurant was busy, but not too busy. Had the artichoke arugula salad and the Bolognese, but very delicious. The unlimited bread was a nice addition, which I did not receive in another Sant Ambroeus location.

EXCELLENT dinner - food was great and our server was exceptional. We ordered the prosciutto with buratta and the salmon. All delicious. Also very good cocktails. And what I especially liked was that the noise level was such that we could easily have a conversation without shouting. Note: we had an early dinner, that may change later at night.

Det var en varm dag medan jag och min dotter gick runt och kunde inte låta bli att gå i Sant Ambrose för att svalna och kyla en minut innan vi fortsätter! Platsen var packad och jag var desperat efter att få en plats någonstans inuti för att svalna. Vi fick valet att antingen ta en barstol eller vänta på ett bord eftersom vi inte hade en tidigare bokning. Jag bad om espresso och cappuccino till min dotter. När jag väntar på våra drinkar beställde damen bredvid oss en kaka i miniatyrstorlek men såg så bra ut! Jag kunde inte hjälpa mig själv men frågade henne vad som hette kakan och om den var bra! Det är Gianduia, svarade hon med ett leende. Jag kunde säga från glasyren i hennes ögon att det var så välsmakande. Hon tillade att hon hade det en gång tidigare och det var bra. Från hur hon snitit en bit av kakan kunde jag inte motstå. Jag beställde en Gianduia att dela den med min dotter. Så snart den anlände, från utseendet om det var det talade det för sig själv! Jag tog en bit och det smälter bokstavligen i munnen! Det var en smak av hasselnöt en touch av choklad! Det var farligt bra! Servitören var stor med en underbar gemensam humor, platsen var ren och cool och ljus. Kostnaden för vår räkning var cirka $ 23. 00 vilket ganska bra jämfört med NYC. Högt rekommenderad.

Vi har verkligen haft vår mat på Sant Ambroeus. Jag hade Spaghetti al pesto och det var enligt min mening den bästa pestopasta som jag någonsin haft. Delen är också mycket bra. Mina vänner hade Tagliatelle a la bolognese. Jag hade en liten bit att smaka och det var lika bra i smaker. Vi slutade med Gianduia och tiramisu, som båda var utsökta och slukade på nolltid.

Jag har varit kunder på platsen Madison och West Village i många år. Jag fick aldrig chansen att prova Soho-platsen förrän för två månader sedan. Mycket trevlig personal (och mycket barnvänligt vilket är sällsynt i NY), utsökt mat, trevlig plats. Jag kan inte hitta några minus. Väldigt bra gjort. Vi kommer tillbaka för säker.

Oavsett plats, ger denna takt alltid sitt löfte. Superb italiensk mat, bra vin (även i glaset) och professionell service. Du kan inte gå fel.

Vi brukade frekventa Madison aveny plats (också utmärkt), men nyligen dined på Soho platsen. Som alltid är maten utmärkt och tjänsten är enastående. Började med Prosciutto e Mozzarella, då hade Bolognese och Trofie al Ragu. Kan inte gå fel med Bolognese, men Ragu var enorm. Toppade allt med en Affogato. Hade en flaska Rosso di Montalcino, vilket var bra.

Endast klagomål är att bänken runt omkretsen är obehaglig - - Odd läder sittplatser (inte stoppade?), Draperad hängmatta - som över en träram.

Gnid armbågar med övre östra sidan rik och äta frukost här. Jag svär Keith Urban gick ensam för att äta.

Jag kom in i restaurangen och bad om ett bord för en person att äta (explicit). Tydligen fanns det inget bord tillgängligt så de erbjöd en sitta i baren, det är okej. . . Jag har inga problem att sitta i baren. Jag väntade i baren om 20 minuter för någon att erbjuda mig menyn. . . de erbjöd mig bara drinkmenyn. . . Jag bad om en drink och spendera mer 40 minuter där och väntar på ett bord eller en meny. . . helt ignoreras. Jag var tvungen att lämna platsen hungrig och hade gått att äta på en annan plats. Fruktansvärda erfarenheter.

Högkvalitativ och god mat, ganska stora serveringsdelar, stort urval av måltider. I den här resan till NY var det en av de bästa platserna för brunch, idealisk från kvalitet - prissynpunkt. Tillfredsställande brunch för två kostar runt 120-130 kronor, och det är ett rimligt pris för detta kök.

Jag spenderar mycket tid i Italien och södra EU så jag är bortskämd när det gäller italiensk mat. Så när som helst föreslår att äta italienska i USA försöker jag undvika det eftersom vad som är känt som italienska har inte mycket att göra med italienska. Sant Ambroeus är undantaget. Platsen känns och ser ut som en gammal Milanese restaurang och mat är vad som ska vara. Min favorit är cotoletta Milanese självklart.

Här kan man få från det lilla till en rejäl brunch. Kändes familjär och personalen var väldigt trevliga. Priserna är inte låga men det är gott. Amerikanska pannkakor till barnen gick ju hem till de yngre.

Sant Ambroeus är en mycket trevlig italiensk restaurang i SoHo, New York med utmärkt mat och mycket bra service. Det finns en mängd olika rätter.

Vi åkte till Sant Ambroeus med vår New Yorker och make efter middagen för gelato. Bra gelato är svårt att komma till utanför stora städer. Sant Ambroeus har några av de bästa jag tror.

Som älskare av gelato hade jag två skopor - stracciatella (chokladchip) och choklad. Smaskigt! Stracciatella var populär i vår grupp. En person hade hasselnöt och pistasch. Det var allt bra!

Nästa gång jag är i New York, vill jag verkligen gå till Sant Ambroeus för middag.
