I've been coming to New Pizza on the Block since 1996 when I was in high school. The current owner is Latino, but he was working there for a long time and bought out the owner. He's great and please support his business. I'm so glad it's still open and I make sure to get my slice when I'm in town. I usually get a slice 🍕 because I'm on a diet, but I wish I had this spot here when I live. Please support this spot. Pizza tastes EXACTLY the way it did 20+ years ago

What can i say, i have been eating here for for over 10 years and the pizza and food has always been exceptional! The restaurant gives you old school pizzeria vibes and its a block away from boulevard east so you can enjoy your pizza and walk it off with a view!

Never had an issue ordering from here before. Today I ordered over the phone, and I was asked to repeat my order multiple times. I specifically ordered breaded shrimp and repeated it 4 times. When I received my order it was not breaded. I called back and was told they would send the correct shrimp. I received the breaded shrimp raw. Photos attached

So if you know me,  you know I Loovve pizza. Pizza from NY/NJ was definitely on the bucket list.
The crew was cool and the spot was definitely what I expected from a east coast spot.
Not too saucy,  plenty of toppings and a crispy crust.
Don't know when I'll be back,  but I'm coming back!!!

I always order from here when I want something hearty and comforting when I go to work. These meals last me 2-3 servings each and they always let me add and substitute ingredients to my liking. The guys are nice and always put the same quality into the food. Great to have this pizza on the block
