Incredible experience, everything done to perfection. Sat at the main counter.  Among the “best sushi ever” pieces were the scallop, eel, uni, medium fatty tuna, and Japanese mackerel, but everything was 10/10 except maybe the crab.  Service was impeccable.  Loved the atmosphere. Our chef was wonderful explaining everything.  One of my best and most memorable dining experiences ever.

There are no words for an experience like this. A Michelin-starred restaurant, this omakase experience was otherworldly. Every bite was delectable and everything pristinely prepared. The waitstaff were superb, knowledgeable, welcoming and kind and everything from the sake, our added items, and the seven-course, twenty-piece meal was perfection. The toro (fatty tuna) was meltingly tender, a sublime mix of richness and umami. The uni (sea urchin) had a creamy, briny sweetness that transported me straight to the ocean. Standouts included the eel, which had a perfectly caramelized glaze, and the perfectly balanced tamago, showcasing the chef’s dedication to even the simplest elements.

Vi hade den klassiska sushi omakase erfarenhet och vi lämnade känsla vi överbetalade för vår måltid. Maten smakade inte fantastiskt, den var ganska intetsägande från början till slut. Restaurangatmosfären var inte supertrevlig heller. Rummet kändes kallt och det var mycket högt.

GENERAL manager John Shin var en komplett sh**. 
Vi hade en dålig upplevelse. Vi hade en reservation kl 9: 15 vi kom tidigare för att njuta av en drink. Vi satt ner och väntade ca 15 - 20 minuter, Inte som om stället var packat. 
Var tvungen att fråga tjejen längst fram (förresten superhäpnadsväckande) , som skulle tjäna oss och hon pekade på John Shin. 
Han kom och vi frågade om vi kan få en drink, svarar han aggressivt och nonchalant. 
Kommer med drinkmenyn vi bestämmer att han kommer tillbaka och vi bara känner att han inte vill vara där han inte vill servera oss, något var fel. 
Jag frågade frontflickan om vi kunde prata med någon men hon berättade att han var den allmänna chefen vi blev verkligen förvånade över det eftersom detta inte är någon som förtjänar den rollen. Han hörde mig prata med henne och tittade på mig och sa vad är problemet... . Min man klev in i samtalet och vi lät John veta att vi inte uppskattade tonen i hans röster och hur avvisande han var mot oss. eftersom han inte kan ta någon kritik bad han oss att lämna restaurangen. 
Glad att vi inte betalade för detta. 
Vi såg fram emot att prova denna plats men kommer aldrig att gå igen på grund av en person som inte gör sitt jobb ordentligt.

Gick med en gammal kollega och hans son. Utsökt superfräscht utbud av sushi tillsammans med krispig daiginjo sake. Jag njöt av det.

Sushi kan du få var som helst, förmodligen för lägre pris också. Har varit på många sushirestauranger - se mina andra recensioner världen över. Den här går långt ner i listan trots att den är en stjärna Michelin. Det finns verkliga problem med Michelin utmärkelser för sushi i NY, särskilt en stjärna sådana. Om du är i någonstans i Asien dessa typer av restauranger skulle inte ens komma i fråga.

Vissa saker var superbra, vissa saker var faktiskt dåliga. 
Lokalen är mycket elegant och mycket elegant. Badrummet är super fin och ren.

Sammantaget... Kanske min gom inte är tillräckligt raffinerad för denna höga - betyg sushi men kontentan är att jag inte njöt av det så mycket som jag förväntade mig och jag kommer definitivt inte tillbaka.

Fantastisk kvalitet och service. Vin ganska dyrt men du är i västra byn så som förväntat. Personalen är super hjälpsam, förklarar varje kurs.

Inte din typiska zen sushi plats men livliga åtgärder i en svartvit miljö. Saken/vinlistan är en av de bästa i staden. De 21 bitarna nigiri är equisite. Servicen super vänlig och professionell. Bäst av allt öppet på en söndag kväll och rimligt prissatt.

Fantastiskt! Du blir inte besviken så länge du är beredd att spendera lite kontanter. Det är värt det. Omakasen är inte bara en matupplevelse utan också fantastisk underhållning i 2 timmar. Om du uppskattar hur mat lagas och kockens fantastiska skicklighet kommer du att bli underhållen.

Det bästa sättet att beskriva denna plats är helt enkelt fantastiskt. Jag anser inte mig själv en sushi expert, men mer en entusiast. Så jag var ärligt inte säker på om jag skulle kunna skilja skillnaden mellan detta och en typisk sushi-plats som jag skulle besöka var bitarna är en bråkdel av kostnaden. Men jag blev blåst bort. Nedskärningarna verkade bara smälta i min mun och riset var helt kryddat. Mängden uppmärksamhet som betalades till varje bit noterades liksom all personalens uppmärksamhet. Inredningen var elegant och atmosfären sofistikerad. Medan de flesta var mer klädda upp var det också några som var i bara jeans och en fin tröja.
