Among all parks in NYC, it has each and every element of a great park. It’s missing nothing. Very organized, clean, and safe. Visually incredible, especially in summer and spring. The middle lake makes it a very welcoming place for many kinds of ducks and other birds. Also, the vibe is real; you’re going to find many running and cycling groups here. Additionally, the middle field is a great place to sit and hang out.

Absolutely breathtaking when it snows. Swans, ducks, geese and seagulls at the semi-frozen lake. Young kids sledding, snow sculptures, dogs running around. Scenic walk which is a nice break from the city.

This is a lovely park!  Woulda spent more time but was hard pressed by other things going on.
Equally lovely is a wonderful Farmers Market right by the gates that showcased some beautiful looking and healthy produce and such!  I’d go back any time!

My personal favorite park in Brooklyn! It gives a great sense of nature. This place is quiet, properly preserved and has a lot of biodiversity! If you love birding or just want a quiet space around in Brooklyn, this is the place to go! Think of it like a smaller but calmer version of Central Park in Manhattan.
