Came to this establishment for a university alumni event. The building is well maintained and stylish, with a good buffet service! Overall positive experience and briefly watched a game of cricket while I was here. Would come again!

Beautiful old club. Staff is fantastic. Squash and tennis are both outstanding AND they are building Padel!!! Phillies best kept secret - a private club without the stuffy. Very diverse, welcoming, casual and fun for the fam.

Went to a seminar here and the place was very nice. There was a pool and everything was clean. Staff was welcoming and overall a nice time.

If you love tennis, try to befriend a member to bring you to this club. When is the last tim you played on GRASS courts? You just have to wear your tennis whites - no kidding. It looks pretty cool - all those grass courts, meticulously maintained, and everyone wearing mostly white clothing. The club has courts for all four surfaces - grass, clay, hard-tru, and hard courts. There are also squash courts, a gym, and a few indoor courts (or so I am told). There is a great pool for laps, diving, and a little kids' pool. I played for almost two hours with a friend of mine on both clay and grass. We then had a nice dinner on the terrace. We each had a large salad. The service was courteous, the lemonade was refreshing, and the salads were nicely presented and delicious. The entrees looked good too, but we didn't have them.

Rude, condescending, classist: everything you'd expect from a Cricket Club. On top of that, they are extraordinarily unorganized. If you want to be treated like an animal by a d-bag who won't take his shades off and look you in the eyes, this is your place. If you believe people should be treated with dignity and at least a modicum of grace, better look elsewhere.

Was looking forward to the ancient somewhat worn but yet still hanging in there atmosphere of this place. It did not disappoint. Cool old fashioned buildings and antique artwork recalls the privileged of centuries gone by. Was there for a catered dinner in the ballroom. Had the veggie option. It was risotto. Quite alright if a tad meager. I liked the antique urinals in the gents. Everything was clean and not shabby just old. Would like to go back and see the rest of the place. Yay Germantown. Always full of unexpected surprises.

We never thought of ourselves as "club types", but we love GCC! My wife, children, and I are there constantly for tennis, squash, swimming, and even dining. It's extraordinarily beautiful and just 15 minutes from Center City. Facilities are amazing: 44 tennis courts (clay, hardcourt, and...wait for it...grass), 8 squash courts, adult and kids' pools, bowling alley. The pros are world-class. Atmosphere is friendly and laid-back, and we've become friends with many of the other families. Highly recommended!

This is a friendly beautiful club located in Germantown. The outdoor tennis courts (har-tru, clay and grass) are top notch and the squash facilities are fantastic. Other activities include an outdoor, heated swimming pool, work-out room, classic bowling alley, and various activities organized by members and staff (bridge, dances). The dining room is lovely, food is good and getting better and service is friendly and helpful, though sometimes inexperienced. Nice pro shops there as well. I am not used to being a club member, but everyone has been welcoming.
