First time in Nashville, for a work conference, but came an extra day and stayed at Hotel Indigo. Not a disappointment in the least. Incredibly welcoming concierge and live music playing in the background. Room was exquisite without being overly dramatic, bed was phenomenal with great variety of pillows for anyone's taste. Enjoyed crab dip with toasted saltines followed by chicken Caesar salad. Wish I was a little bit more hungry, and could've finished it. Staff in restaurant was attentive and kind.

My wife and I stayed here for two nights on a quick trip to Nashville while I was traveling up to Fort Knox. The lobby is beautiful with a good amount of seating. At night they had live music both nights we were there and we had drinks and hung out in the bar area Saturday night because the performer was very talented. The drinks from the bar are also very good. The room was spacious but the layout was not very functional for us. The TV was mounted on a wall which could not be seen from the bed or dining table. Also the windows had blinds but did not have curtains so the early morning sun would wake us. Room service also ignored our do not disturb sign both days we were there. This was a minor inconvenience. When we spoke to the front desk Karen took great care of us. They certainly stand behind their customers and made note of the issues as well. The location of the hotel is perfect. You are downtown and in walking distance to everything but not right on the main drag where all the bars and clubs are. This made for a nice quiet night when we returned to our room after exploring. I would return to this location for our next Nashville trip.

For the neutral characteristics of this hotel, one should know it is located in the heart of downtown Nashville...which has changed significantly since 2020. There seemed to be construction going on nearly every place we drove, and actually getting to the front of the hotel was a little challenging. In the area, unfortunately there were many that were homeless, sleeping on the street sidewalks, grass areas and beneath overpasses, with several asking for money at stoplights. Visiting this city every year in the 70s-80s, and periodically since then, it's sad to see so many area's decline. Yet, it's Nashville...there's also some great places to visit, restaurants and cafes to frequent, all within walking distance as well. The parking garage next to the hotel was completely "closed for maintenance", yet no work was being done that we saw. The hotel uses a garage some distance away, which meant for us, we were forced to use the $60/day valet service because we couldn't carry and wheel our luggage down the blocks, past areas we didn't feel safe, as was needed. Parking for the day, not including valet...was also $60. Huge price to pay for a 3-day conference. There is no continental breakfast but a restaurant on site. The meals are very limited in options, very pricey, but delicious in what we did try. They let us know that they could not accommodate for any food allergies whatsoever. We were warned that all foods have cross contamination and lunch on Friday only had one cook for the whole restaurant. We opted for Door Dash a couple of meals due to these limitations. To get coffee, they offer a Starbucks type price and selection at the restaurant. Live music is something that happened each night we were there (Wed-Sat), and one night, they had music that was loud enough to reach us on the 9th floor. There was a refrigerator in our room, but no microwave. A one-cup plastic pod coffee maker with no teas or other amenities, except a fresh can of purified water each day. All soaps, shampoo etc in the room are pumps on the counter and in the shower. No special perks this way either. Unfortunately, one of our beds had linens that were very dirty and stained in multiple places. The housekeeper manager and another woman immediately responded when I asked for new bedsheets and they could not have been more apologetic, nor accommodating in every way possible way. Since it was embarrassing on their part, I was supposed to get a discount for their mistake and unpleasant oversight...but I did not receive it upon checkout. I didn't notice til I got home as the bill was emailed to me. There was one young gentleman who checked us in and must've been having a very difficult day...not kind and rather abrasive with myself and others. But on the other hand, a woman named Heather who was working the morning we had to leave, was the nicest, most hospitable hotel, motel, resort person I have ever met...and I've traveled a lot for decades. There were a few special needs we had in traveling that last day and she went the second, no, make that third mile in service. For the price of the hotel, the price of the food, forced valet service and parking garage issues, I would never willingly choose this hotel again. There was nothing unique, alluring, or "extra" about it. You get bare minimum with a premium price tag. But...they certainly have a few stellar employees, including one exceptional valet, that should get a raise in my opinion.

Visited Nashville a few months back and booked my hotel on Hotwire hot deals, which meant I wasn't exactly privy to what hotel I'd be staying at until I paid. The good news was the hotel I landed was The Hotel Indigo. The even better news? It was deeply discounted! Huzzah! The point of my trip was to see a comedy troupe I've loved for many a decade perform at the Ryman and I was elated to find that the hotel was right down the street. Everything was beautiful in the hotel as well. The decor and design of the lobby was right up my alley, they have a small shop where I was able to procure a bar of local chocolate, a bandana, and bottled water during my three night stay (none were particularly cheap but I was on vacation!). The hotel is also adjacent to Printer's Alley which was fun to roam through in the evenings and people watch. There's a restaurant in the lobby and I grabbed dinner there before heading out one evening. They had a great local musician playing and I had a lovely meal of shrimp and grits and a cocktail while taking in the music. Because the hotel is in the middle of a lot of the action, grabbing a car was not difficult at all, either. My room was clean, comfortable, and a nice size. Next time I'm in town I definitely would love to stay there again!

Weekend trip to Nashville with friends. Checked in to this hotel. Very friendly staff and helpful. Quick walk (IMO) to broadway for the nightlife. Didn't try the on site food but did have some coffee and it was good and strong. This place is very instagramable. Adorable decor that is cozy and tasteful. The hotel smelled delicious. Like cinnamon and fall. Right next store to printers alley. Very quiet and beds were comfortable. Would stay again

Located on Union Street on the corner of Printers Alley and a short walk to the Lower Broadway area. Goes by two names - Hotel Indigo & The Countrypolitan. Free Live music on the weekends (Friday night- R& B, Saturday night- Country/Western and Sunday a fabulous Blue Grass Band (you'll hear a little on the Bar video) limited menu but something for everyone. Spacious Rooms and a really great staff (yes Andrea, talking about you). So great location, entertainment, food and accommodations (what else could you ask for)? The Valet is a little slow but if call for the 10-15 early it will be there when you get downstairs. Definitely coming back !! I read some of the reviews that complained about "small rooms" try #1315- it's a nice size. Forgot to mention: no pool snd Gym is currently being renovated.....

This is a gorgeous hotel! It's located right at Printers Alley and made for easy getting around downtown Nashville. We stayed on the 12th floor in a king suite and it was decorated beautifully and was very spacious. The lobby is gorgeous and the valet was helpful and easy. There is some construction going on around the hotel so expect some detours.
