Definitely check out the Nashville's Best Botique!!! Everything is so cute in there and the worker today was amazing. Half the store is only $10 and the other half is price as marked. Super cute and wide variety to choose from. In general the building is super clean and air conditioned which is nice on a hot day.

We checked out the Marathon Motor Works shopping center on a Monday. It was a perfect way to spend some time indoors during the hot summer day. They have a variety of little shops, including a candy shop, several souvenir shops, and specialty shops. There's even a few distilleries and eateries. I could see how it would be easy to spend a couple hours here. The unique part about this shopping center is that it's an old factory, and they have a lot of of the history and old machinery lining the indoor hallways. It was cool to check out all of the history as we made our way from store to store. One of my favorite stores was the little $10 souvenir shop.

Very cool shopping area which was one of our stops on our tour in Nashville. You can buy souvenirs and different local crafts and gifts. Love the repurposed building which gave it a lot of character

Mostly tourist-oriented shops housed in the old factory where Marathon autos were built c.1910. Nicely renovated, and a very interesting story. After shopping check out the displayed Marathons housed across the street. We thought it was fun after our bust at the 'farmers market' nearby.

Didn't see a lot of reviews here, but saw on YouTube and wanted to check it out. It's an old industrial building and repurposed as a retail area. They have a small vintage car show room...and a side with Jack Daniel and some distilleries and shops. Not much eatery here though. It's great to stop by if you are close by or have extra time, but won't make a special trip if you don't have time or staying farther.

I love this re-purposed building. Old buildings are my favorite. This one house's different shops and distilleries. Some shops are strangely closed on Sundays though, so prepare for that. When you are walking between ships, there are displays of old machinery, which adds to the ambiance. Great place to browse around for a few hours.

Great selection of stores and shops to fulfill all your touristy needs! Choose from a wide array of goods, from free whiskey tasting to free olive oil tasting. Free museum housing the original motor cars. Interesting spot to check out on your Nashville trip.

It's a one stop shop for all items. You can do tastings. You can shop. You antique shop. They have it all! Best spot to really visit. I got couple souvenirs and items for the home.

So, overall Marathon Motor Works Mercantile is 3 stars, but the 4th star is for our favorite shop, Music City Creative, who is housed here and doesn't have their own Yelp page yet! Marathon Motor Works is located just outside of downtown Nashville and is home to a variety of vendors and local artists, along with a few distilleries and tasting rooms, as well as a candy shop. Parking is tough here. There is a paid lot across the street from the main entry and a non-paid lot on the side of the building. If both of those are full, you will have to find street parking or another nearby lot. The exterior keeps true with the industrial purpose of this building with brick, faded paint, copper roofs and a lot of iron/metal trimmings and bars. The inside keeps it going with concrete floors, wood walls, exposed ceilings, pipes, etc...In addition to the shops and vendors here, it also serves as a museum for Marathon Motor Works. As you walk through you can see old cars and other relics from the past including machinery, photos and accessories that line the walls and specialty cases throughout. You get to do a little shopping, while also learning and taking a trip back in time. It is pretty cool. As mentioned, this place is a must for us as we absolutely LOVE Music City Creative, which is a local specialty print shop. They have really great shirt designs, as well as other accessories. And what is cool, is if they have a design you like but not you size, they will go press it for you while you wait! Additionally, they have some really great photo ops with their neon Nashville and pride themed backdrop. They are legit the greatest! The other shops are predominantly souvenir shops. It is nice to have a few choices of spots for the souvenirs for the family, but I did find that the service in each of them was hit and miss. Also, the store that sits on the front beside the candy shop is the American Picker owned store, which was cool to walk around in, but way overpriced. I do feel the souvenir shops and the American Picker store turn this spot from what it was intended to be, a repurposed space giving local artists, creatives and start ups a space, to a touristy place. I get you do what pays the bills, but those spots take something away from the overall feel of the place. Overall, if Music City Creative happens to relocate, we will have no reason to swing into Marathon Motor Works. I know they are constantly changing vendors and such, so may be worth a pop in from time to time to see what they got going on.
