My sister and I ordered through UberEats and we had some high hopes. The burritos were a bit cold and they were missing many components. As Latina girls, we take our burritos seriously (haha). I like their concepts and ideas of making funky burritos but they really have to work on executing it. Pretty disappointed. Total: close to $36 for 2 burritos (insane) plus delivery

Love this pop-up!! I just heard about it yesterday and after checking out the menu we were there within 30 minutes. We arrived right before 12 and it quickly became obvious that Man vs Fries was not a secret as the parking lot soon became packed. Man vs Fries is being operated out of the blue Reef Kitchen truck that is parked alongside the rest of the food trucks at the corner of E. Cesar Chavez/N. Pleasant Valley Rd. There are not any signs posted so it was a little annoying at first trying to locate the correct truck. Also, you CANNOT ORDER at the window. You must use a delivery service or order through the app for take out which was a little confusing & irritating. After we worked out the kinks, we ordered the pollo asado curly fries SoCal style and the Cali crunch with a side of queso. I was very impressed with the food! For two average size people, this was a lot of food and we were able to take 1/2 of the Cali crunch home. I'm definitely coming back for the fried oreos!

Do not order the fries from here. Did postmates order for pick up. Attempted to eat immediately and it was all super cold. See attached photo of the mess it was. The asada was cold, so tough and tasteless. Huge portion that's why they get the one star however it's still a waste because the food is cold and all mushy and undesirable. No way to reheat this mess either. Waste of money and time.

I was passing by, stopped at a red light. I saw the trailer and was intrigues by the name of the business. I pulled in the location to check it out, and I was told that I need to order via these food delivery services. I said I am right here, why can't I just order the food right now??? The worker, and that is nothing against her, did not know how to respond. I do not know how to respond either. So... I left!

Stayed in east Austin this weekend. On Sunday 5/30 after ordering from postmates, decided to just drive the 30 mins to pickup the food. Well we got to the parking lot and no one was there. Literally all of the food trucks were empty. We walked to the front door to find that it was locked. No one answered the door or our phone calls. Postmates said the order was ready for pick up. And since Monday was memorial day we couldn't get a hold of the bank to cancel the transaction. Today the transaction went through and postmates has the order as fulfilled. I'm not sure what's going on but if they were closed on Sunday why were orders being accepted? They should update their information on Google as well because according to google they were open until 12:30 am. Just want our money back. Feels very "scam likely" (This review is in regards to a different last name)

I really wanted to give this place the benefit of the doubt with all the bad reviews and wow, the reviews are right. STAY AWAY. Food was cold. Cheese wasn't even melted in the burrito. Paid to have hot Cheetos in my burrito and it had none. The queso was the most disgusting thing I've ever seen (see pics) This place should be sued for false advertising. The pics on the website look nothing like what you receive. I've had a bad aftertaste in my mouth for the last 2 hours. The seasoning on the chicken is SO SALTY. I'll be drinking a gallon of water the rest of the afternoon because of it. It was also a headache to order on the app. You can't order at the trailer window. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. Austin has way too many good places to eat to be wasting your money with this food trailer. Go back to California guys, it don't work here in Austin. Maybe our palates are a bit more sophisticated than Californians.

I see a lot of bad reviews here and, ill admit, i did ask for queso and i didnt get queso. But i told postmates and they gave me $10. And the burrito was massive and one order of curly fries was enough for 4 people. Delicious. Dope. Yall hatin. 5 stars
