We visited the restaurant yesterday and had an amazing experience. The atmosphere of the restaurant is so inviting and lively. The food and drinks were amazing. We opted to not order a full meal since we had just eaten and had the appetizer options that were being passed around instead. I can imagine the meal options would be great too. Was served by Carlos and other staff members who took time to be patient with us as we speak minimal to no Portuguese 😓. Had a great time and will definitely be back.

We stumbled upon this place. We were drawn in by the lively atmosphere and the huge crowd. It’s a beautiful restaurant with high ceilings and glass partitions that let in a lot of light and create a cozy vibe. We decided to check it out.

Food:
It’s a Brazilian restaurant with a pretty extensive menu. You can sometimes pick from appetizers they bring by your table.
We chose a few dishes. We had the white fish cevichi. The sauce and combination were good, but the fish was really cold, almost frozen. It was a huge temperature shock, and it was unpleasant to eat. The fish should be room temperature. We also had a local Brazilian pastry with ribs. The filling was tasty and had a rich meat flavor, but it lacked moisture. It was dry. For our main course, we got the octopus. Unfortunately, it had some flaws. It was bland and lacked spice. It had more of a boiled texture than a grilled texture.

Service:
Some of the waiters spoke English. We could get by with gestures with the others. They brought the food out pretty quickly. Overall, the service was decent.

Conclusion:
The food was disappointing, even though the restaurant was packed. Maybe that’s because it’s near the beach. We loved the atmosphere and the interior. If we were to come back, it would just be for a couple of drinks.

Great food, probably the best meal I had during my two weeks visiting Brazil. Vibes were great, the server was nice, and the food was top tier. There was a line when we arrived, but it moved quickly and servers offered drinks and food to guests who were waiting. Great place, I would definitely come back.

Belmonte Ipanema

Detta Belmonte är känt för sitt läge, precis mittemot den vackra stranden Ipanema. Det är på många sätt en typisk "botequim", men mycket mer exklusiv. (Adressen som visas här - - Teixeira Melo - - är inte korrekt. Det är i hörnet av Rua Farme de Amoedo och Avenida Vieira Souto. ) Maten är bra men för dyrt för Rio och platsen blir mycket trångt. Borden står för nära varandra, enligt min mening. Den botequim lockar en blandning av turist och (i allmänhet) väl - utanför Cariocas. Det är lugnt. Jag har varit där några gånger och jag kommer förmodligen att gå tillbaka. Men personligen föredrar jag en mer laid - back (och billigare) botequim.

Detta är en stor pub och det har också ganska bra mat. Det var lite bullrigt, men för en pub var detta inte oväntat. Matportionerna är ganska bra och ”picanha för att dela” räckte för tre hungriga personer. Caipirinhas var stor (lite för söt för mina amerikanska vänner, men perfekt för mig och min fru). Förrätterna (förs till bordet ofta men debiteras individuellt) var utsökt. Mina barn hade grillat korv och pastais, och de älskade det. Mina vänner åt sallad, hummus och torsk och de verkade mest nöjda med det (torsken blev dock ingen succé). Räkningen för fyra var ca R $ 600 för fyra personer (ca $ 27 USD per person) .

Fantastisk restaurang, perfekt läge... Bra ställe att tillbringa tid med vänner och familj. Servicen är utmärkt... . . Atmosfären fantastisk...

Utmärkt för alla kulinariska smaker (de har allt där). Vacker utsikt, trevlig atmosfär och många drinkalternativ för dem som gillar det. De erbjuder barnrätter och har en täckningsavgift på 35 reais per person i det övre området, som har en bättre utsikt över stranden och en DJ-spelande.

Det här stället är vansinnigt. Vi har varit här några gånger och kommer nu äntligen att ge upp. Förra gången (idag) betalade vi 35 reals (eller möjligen 45 reals - - jag minns inte) - - så att vi kunde få ett bord på taket. Men det är samma kaos på taket som vid de lediga borden där nere. De kunde inte göra det mer obehagligt: servitrisen är ständigt i ditt ansikte (bokstavligen) minst en gång var 5: e minut trycker "merförsäljning matvaror" i ditt ansikte och försöker få dig att köpa sina "tillägg" objekt (varmkorv, salta bakverk, etc. etc. ) - - - som om du inte bara kunde beställa objekt från menyn utan deras i - din - ansikte försäljning pitch. (Det är precis som kaoset på stranden som vi åkte till Belmonte för att komma bort från med några minuters mellanrum.) Det är så trångt att man måste gå i sidled nerför gången för att komma från sitt bord till utgången eller badrummet - - för det är ett konstant flöde av människor i sjukdomar - - och gångarna mellan borden är så smala att, om man är ett av de 30 % av deras bord som står på en gång, kommer man ständigt att stöta på. Allvarligt talat, hela tiden. Och våra drinkar var riktigt svaga. De handlar om försäljningsvolymen och inte en bra kundupplevelse. Allt som allt ett stort "nej".

Buzzy typisk brasiliansk bar med bra atmosfär och god rejäl mat. Ganska bullrigt men bidrar till kul. Personalen utmärkt och inte för dyrt med bra läge.

Vi var i Rio för 5 nätter och vi kom hit för mat på 3 av nätterna. Vår servitör hette Edy (jag tror att han heter så ) . Bra service den här mannen bryr sig verkligen om sina kunder. Jag älskade det här och tyckte maten var bra speciellt tiramisu 😀

Trevlig bar med bra läge och goda drinkar samt en mängd snacks. Baren har även en övervåning med dj men tar då en inträdesavgift på BRL 35

Vi anlände på en upptagen eftermiddag utan reservation efter att ha besökt marknaden Ipanema. Vi var en stor grupp men de hade inga problem sitter oss omedelbart och tjänsten var 10/10 från början till slut. Servitörer kunde inte ha varit mer hjälpsamma eller vänliga. Rekommendera!

Vi rekommenderades denna bar / restaurang för en tidig måltid på en tisdag kväll. Platsen fylldes snart och det var en rolig atmosfär. Bra mat, bra service på ett innermat Leblon gatan. Vi har sedan varit tillbaka ett par gånger. Den enda skillnaden har varit att platsen har varit mycket busier och tjänsten är inte så personlig.

Vi fyra gick in i denna delvis trottoarrestaurang på rekommendation av en vänlig stallhållare på marknaden motsatt. Stor och med påsar med atmosfär. Vi upplevde bra service av en engelskspråkig meny så antar de förväntar sig turister men alla verkade lokala. Delar var enorma för engelska pallar och vi beställde över. En maträtt som beskrivs som spanska potatis och som jag antog skulle vara patatas bravas var en stor kruka med en slags potatisgryta med lök, oliver och mycket annat. Läckra och på ca 5 Sterling ett fynd. Massor förutom rakt fram hälsosam grub. Se att det är en del av en kedja. Önskar att det skulle komma till U. K. och konkurrera med våra kedjor. Nando's, Zizzi etc kollar!

Kom hit idag som min man ville se moto gp som de vänligen sätta på för honom. Hade lunch som vi beställde räkor i vitlök och kryddig att komma med ut huvudet av biff för 2. Som kom med sidor av svarta bönor, farofa, ris, chips och vinaigrette sallad. Allt var mycket gott! ! Vi bad om maten som var kvar att vara boxad så vi kunde ge den till någon i behov snarare än att det kastades bort som de gjorde inga problem. Tjänsten har varit fantastisk. Mycket trevlig personal. Priserna är inte heller dåliga.

Den bästa Ipanema-restaurangen med tradition, god service och god mat. . . . . Jag rekommenderar särskilt räkor risotto

Vi besökte här två gånger under vår vistelse i Rio. En gång för sen natt bakverk (medel) och caipirinhas (även genomsnittlig) och andra gången till lunch. Den senare var trevlig, med goda sidor att gå med en bra, ingen nonsensbiff. Hjälpsam och tillmötesgående personal som arbetade runt vår brist på portugisiska.
