Perfectly executed French cuisine!  Very attentive staff who provides excellent service.  Great change of pace from the many Nordic fine dining restaurants in Copenhagen.  The Samuel also has the largest collection of Dom Perignon north of France.

Very affordable meal considering the ingredients and one star status. We had inquired beforehand the possibilities of bringing along a vegetarian diner, to which we were told was no problem.
However at the restaurant, we were told that they only had the meals on the menu, of which none were vegetarian, despite us informing them beforehand as written above. The staff were fast to accommodate this. Smaller detail, but perhaps something to work on in the future.

The Samuel is back in amazing shape - the total overhaul of their house is nothing but wow. The people & food as sharp as ever. Jonathan & Rasmus and their team have a clear mission to please you and they are on a quest to make the former farmacy in Hellerup a new top gourmet destination and they are well on their way.

High expectations due to Michelin star restaurant. Dinner started immediately with the first course without any personal welcome. The chef was not there. Wine pairing was good. Cherry for the desert course was outstanding. Food was average. Assortment of cheese introduced with a University lecture -  but very dry. Desert was very good. Overall not convincing. Service was quite mechanical without a personal note. How did this restaurant get a Michelin star?
