Excellent hotel, very stylish room which was clean with lovely views over the harbour. Good location, friendly reception staff, we were able to check in a little earlier which was really helpful. The cafe attached to the hotel is brilliant too, really relaxed atmosphere. Thanks for a great stay 🙏

Everything about this hotel was perfect for our stay. The location is fantastic and everything is within walking distance. The staff are all very friendly and gave us some wonderful recommendations on where to stop throughout our trip. The rooms were great and we had everything we could need. I highly recommend the restaurant and donut shop downstairs too. Everything we tried was delicious. I cannot recommend the Exeter Hotel enough!!

Top quality hotel, staff were really nice, cool vibe. Breakfast was great. Our room faced the harbour and the road noise didn’t wake us up - not sure why some people are being sp dramatic about that. Would definitely stay again.

Just returned from an amazing trip to Reykjavik. This hotel is perfectly situated, it's close to the harbour for sea trips and also walking distance to Rainbow street. There is a bus stop 2 minutes across the road for airport and excursion trips. Breakfast is fresh fruit, breads for toast, cereal, sausages and eggs. The rooms are spacious, beds amazingly comfortable, bathroom is so large and has an amazing shower. The added coffee machine is just brilliant. The cleaners are really friendly and chatty and staff at reception are very welcoming and helpful. You can use the lockers that are free and secure and really large for cases. We also visited the onsite bakery for bagles and the restaurant for burgers and lamb flatbread everything we had was amazing.

Stayed in harbour view room top floor, very quiet and comfy bed. Room a little dark, putting make-up on a little challenging without a good light, very few shelves for clothes or anything, a few coathooks. Nice view, great location, fabulous facilities downstairs, restaurant and bar, lockers which we relied on quite a bit. Lovely staff laid back happy and fabulous!
