From a foreigners perspective this was a great pool to being kids to. Kids are free. The water was nice and warm even though it was 10c outside. Facilities are nice. Showers and lockers are great. It's a bit strange to have to shower fully naked before and after swimming

We loved the public baths! This place is a great place to relax, and only about $10 (USD) per person, compared to $400(!!!!) at Blue Lagoon (which is horrible for relaxing!).  Support Reykjavík and enjoy the hot pots (38° - 44° C) and cold pot (8° C), and pools, steam baths, all from Iceland's geothermal majesty. Nice facility with modern lockers to secure your stuff while you enjoy Iceland like a local!

Was fairly crowded on a Saturday evening in October. Lots of children. Facilities are good and clean, although it seems all of the shoe lockers are currently broken, or at least the wristband keys do not work for them. A simple workaround is to carry your shoes into the locker room and store them in your locker if you want to keep them secure. Also only a few of the showers have soap dispensers despite the rules being seemingly very strict about showering with soap and water before entering, doesn’t make much sense.
