Such a great museum, especially on a dreary weather day. We loved the Ice 🧊 cave and the view from the rooftop. My family loved all the exhibitions especially the interactive ones. The volcano show was interesting too! The gift shop had lots of unique items to chose from too! I definitely recommend getting there early as by noon is was jammed packed!

One of the best museums I have ever been to! It’s very interactive and the interesting with a couple of shows; Aurora and Volcano and the Ice Cave. It was very well coordinated and guided.

The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming something that seems to be part of Icelandic culture. We were very grateful it was open on Christmas Day. Highly recommend visiting here on a trip to Reykjavik. Purchase tickets in advance.

The museum offers a great opportunity to deepen our understanding of Iceland's natural environment before starting the tour. Visited on the weekend whilst on holiday and really enjoyed the afternoon here. The ice cave was amazing and views over the city from the observation deck were great; if a little windy! Lovely couple of exhibits and just a generally all round good time.
