Very good hotel with a super chic/boutique feel to it.

POSITIVES
-Room was clean, bed was comfortable
-Probably because of my Marriott status, but I was upgraded to a suite
-They very kindly sent me a small chocolate amenity, which I appreciated
-Front desk hustled to get me in my room even though I arrived before their check-in time and was attentive to ensure it got done before I had a meeting

AREAS OF ATTENTION
-My shower didn't drain properly, but I only stayed there 1 night so I didn't alert them (though I took 2 showers so I probably should have)
-Main living room of the suite was very dark, even the most lighting.
-I contacted management (twice) ahead of time, as I usually do, but they oddly didn't respond

The Viu Milan has been spectacular! I’ve had the pleasure of spending 4 days here and am still enjoying every minute! Not only is it beautiful, but the staff has been fantastic. From my first step in the door I was greeted by the reservations manager Monica who welcomed me with open arms and we shared photos of our pets, she personally walked me to my room and greets me each time I come and go from the hotel! Beyond Monica the rest of the staff has followed suit. The bartenders are lovely all knowing me by name and sharing stories as I make friends with other guests. The food and drinks are delicious and prepared with much care and attention to detail. I will %100 be coming back when I visit Milan and highly recommended it ! Fabulous hotel feels like home ! A very fancy home ! 🩷

I have nothing else to give but my utmost thanks for the absolutely astounding service offered by the gracious staff at Viu Milan. They exceeded above and beyond any calls for hospitality and have truly set the absolute standard for me for what it means to extend hospitality as if one were family.

From the moment we stepped in the door to the moment we left we were extremely well cared for with empathy and kindness.

The trip ended with the front manager frantically calling taxis firing up every single terminal available to him calling 3 taxis simultaneously because we had a train to catch and our luggage was too large.

You have my perpetual thanks as an astounding highlight of our trip to Milan

I recently stayed at this so-called “5-star” hotel, and I have to say, it was a huge disappointment. The service was far below what you’d expect from a luxury hotel. Staff seemed indifferent to guests, and I often felt like an inconvenience rather than a customer.

For a 5-star hotel, I was shocked there was no espresso machine in the room. This is a basic amenity in most hotels, let alone one that advertises itself as high-end.

Another frustration was the deposit policy. Instead of offering room credit, they required a deposit for incidentals. This felt more like a money grab than a gesture of hospitality.
I can read online reviews afterwards and see that many experienced the same issues.

These issues, along with a handful of other smaller inconveniences, left me feeling like I’d booked an overpriced hotel that cuts corners and doesn’t deliver on its promises. I would not recommend this hotel if you’re looking for genuine 5-star quality and service.

Quiet and sophisticated luxury. The rooms were very comfortable and sleek. The tram runs right outside the hotel, which makes it easy to access the rest of the city. My only wish was that the rooms had espresso machines
