Book ahead of time. We called the same day and ended up in the reserve list, after a few hours we got a place at the time the restaurant opens (most Italians eat very late dinners!). We ordered the small vegetarian menu (6 dishes) and found every dish amazing and different. Our son ordered the pappardelle with a rabbit reduction. The taste was a bit too "adulty" for him (a bit on the bitter side) but an adult would appreciate the taste more. The desserts were amazing. This is not a cheap restaurant though, especially if you go for the menu.
