First of all these people are amazing. I have read all the bad comments about service, non-welcome behavior from server and owners, only cash payments and all. I have to say non of them happened while we were there.

They welcomed us since we entered the restaurant. They have informed us about food and took our order. Even the owner said we ordered too much food and he suggested us to cancel couple of them and we listened and guess what he was right.

The best ribollita i have ever had and believe me i had it every single restaurant that serves ribollita.

Picci and pappardelle hand made perfectly cooked not heavy and fresh.

And Bistecca alla Fiorentina. Hands down the best Florentin steak. The best. They don’t insist about temperature of the steak. Not rare actually it’s between medium to medium rare not bloody and really quality cut.

We never take a picture in any restaurant we went but this one was exception.

We walked in without a booking, we were lucky to grab the last available table. Highly recommend booking in advance!
The staff was friendly, described the menu in English and shared their recommendations.
There was probably an error on their end, since we waited 45 minuted for the antipasti.
The food was good, the pesto gnocchi was excellent, a favourite. Other dishes were hearty and homey, but nothing stood out as extraordinary. The atmosphere felt very authentic, big family eating together type of place.

After having a day of sightseeing in Florence it was amazing to have the delicious experience of Bistecca Florentina (Steak Florentina). It was cooked on a wood fire and rare. One of the juiciest meats I have tried. It was served with bone but sliced.

You don't get to choose the amount. We were three people and we wanted to have less than a kilogram but their smallest slice was 1.3kg, which was a little hard to finish.

It's quite pricey, but worth trying it out. For us just the meat was almost €80. And with the sides and the wine it exceeded €130

The service was very friendly and nice. I would recommend!

Great Tuscan food in a cosy atmosphere. The Pici was sensational.  The host provided great service and was happy to accomodate us as walk-ins. The place is cash only
