Just stayed here for two nights and it was perfect for me and my wife.  The best part of the hotel is the service from the staff. We arrived early and left our luggage while we explored Venice.  The staff carried our VERY heavy luggage up to our room while we were out. I always wake up very early and the front desk clerk made me coffee at 3:00 am.  They also arranged a porter to take our luggage to the dock to get the boat back to the airport. The breakfast was delicious both mornings. I could have eaten that whole plate of deviled eggs. The hotel is a five minute walk from San Marco square. It’s on a small side street so you can escape the crowds. Try to pack light as you have to go over two bridges to get to the hotel, but that’s true of every hotel in Venice.  Definitely recommend when visiting the amazing city of Venice.

Charming hotel in Venice. Location is ideal, close to everything; restaurants, main square and easily accessible when you arrive from the airport. Nice breakfast with variety. Excellent service from the housekeeping to the staff at breakfast and specially reception. They gave us some good recommendations for places to eat among other things and they were extremely kind and helpful. Only downside, we had an issue with the toilet not flushing and they were only able to get somebody to come and fix it on the day we were leaving but they offered us to change to room instead. We did a city trip with my friend and overall we were so satisfied with our stay there that this small issue didn't matter too much.

This hotel is a gem - perfect location for the attractions of Basilica St Marco, Doge’s Palace, Museo Correr, easy walk to the Guggenheim and Academia.
Top marks for breakfast- staff and spread; there is ample choice of very interesting bites  and tempting pastries.
The rooms are scrupulously cleaned daily, reception staff and managers are extremely helpful and accommodating.
This year, we stayed in their Apartment also known as the Mozart room. Fabulous view of the canal  with all its mystique and activity.
This was my second time, I will return next year!

Very nice and friendly staff, they accommodated everything we asked for and even more!

Breakfast is extra and cost 15eur pp. You can grab coffee and pastries outside on the streets for less, but if you enjoy a buffet breakfast - this is a nice option to consider.

Also, when you Checkout you can leave your bags at the front desk - there is always someone there (24/7)!

The location:

As mentioned, it's in a very central location. If you walk there from the train station it's around 35 min.

You can also take a taxi boat which is faster but more expensive.

The room

Ours (number 61, 4th floor, no elevator but the staff can help with luggage) had a double bed, 2 small armchairs, a closet with hangers and a safe, two night stands, a hidden mini-fridge and a big body mirror.

Also the nightly rate for the room (during April) was affordable compared to other places around this location (220 EUR for 2 nights, 2 people, without breakfast).

What we didn't like in the room:
1. Small TV
2. No shelf for toiletries in the bathroom
3. Noise - we could hear other guests walking or Talking in the hallway and doors slamming
Also if you open the windows it might be a bit noisy from the street below. So BRING EARPLUGS!

Despite the disadvantages of the room, the location and service made our experience really great, hence the overall 5 star rating.

A general tip for anyone visiting Venice (not just this hotel): travel light.

It's not ideal dragging around big suitcases and luggage - so try to manage with only trolley bags (especially if you walk around Venice).

Lovely little hotel in a superb location! Staff are all very friendly, helpful, and kind. While the rooms are a little dated and small, this is to be expected in Venice! However, the rooms had excellent facilities, were clean, well kept, and very comfortable! Breakfast is also very much recommended, they have an excellent continental spread, with fresh coffee on demand!
