We arrived around 10:30 am and was told that our room was ready. Over the years we traveled and stayed at many different hotels but had never able to get into our room before 2:00 pm
This was REALLY A GREAT SURPRISE for us!
In addition, this hotel is located in a very convenient location, close to everything especially for cruise ship travelers.
Our room was very clean with a great view and friendly staff. Breakfast was good , too.
Highly recommended.

Stayed here for 1 night post-cruise with my husband for our honeymoon. Nico checked us in and he was awesome! We probably talked too much to him but his service and help was phenomenal! I will admit the hallways could use a good vacuuming, which initially made me concerned about the room but the room was beautiful, spacious and clean so that's all we really care about! Rooftop area was so nice to have access to and relax. Buffet breakfast was a bit pricey but you understand once you see the food; the quality of food and the amount of options there was compensates for the price. It was well worth it! Location was perfect for walking around Barcelona. I loved the Gothic Quarters and the architecture there. It was a great place to stay for our last night on our honeymoon. Access to the airport was convenient and there's always taxis out front due to it being right next to the port as well. Perfect stay. Thank you!

Eurostars Grand Marina is topping my list of worst hotel experiences. The hotel as such is not bad, but what I have experienced is almost surreal (and yes, this is a true story).

I made my booking through the hotel's own website, where I got an offer for 179€ for one night. Immediately after filling in my credit card details I was instantly charched 249€ (without a single notice). When I contacted the hotel, I was told that my booking was made through a 3rd party (which I initially believed) and that the hotel only received the net amount. When I confronted them with my bank statements (which showed that Eurostars G.M.) received a far higher amount, I was eventually told that their website must have been hacked. This could Indeed be a plausible explanation, but -if so- it is the hotel's responsibility. Eventually I was told by the manager (Eduard S.) that he would take care of the situation.

When I arrived, a day later, the front desk was not aware of this situation. On the contrary, I was asked for my credit card again (to take an additional guarantee). I refused this on the basis that I was told that the initial overcharge was not going to be refunded. (Therefore I paid the taxes in cash). What happened afterwards goes beyond immigration. I was physically removed with force by an aggressive night guard (encouraged by night desk staff member Juan). I was only allowed to get in again after I had the police involved. For the avoidance of doubt: I displayed no aggression whatsoever towards the staff.
This makes Eurostars Grand Marina the only hotel, to my knowledge, where the workforce displays physical aggression towards guests. Such a situation of course calls for a reaction.

To all readers: Do me a favour and do not book a room in this hotel (group).

Friendly and respectful people. Always Smiling . The rooms are super clean with a fair price for a hotel of similar quality. The breakfast buffet is also great, wish they had a few halal options but it’s not a deal breaker . Definitely worth the price.

We recently stayed at this hotel for three days during our language-focused trip, and it exceeded our expectations. Everything was exactly as described on the website. The staff were friendly and welcoming, with a special shout-out to Isac, who kindly helped me with the sofa bed and took the time for a nice chat about Spain (specifically Barcelona). It was a memorable touch!

Taxis were conveniently available right outside the hotel, making travel easy, and on our last day, they stored our luggage for us after checkout, which was a big help before heading to the airport. The rooms were comfortable, with soft beds and a clean, spacious bathroom and shower. Overall, it was a fantastic stay, and I’d definitely recommend this hotel for anyone looking for convenience, comfort, and great service.
