Had an amazing start to our meal!

Mussels and clams:The mussels and clams were so tasty and perfectly cooked. Get the bread to dip in this sauce!

Sourdough bread with olive oil: had a great crust and softness inside of the bread, olive oil was delicious and was a bit fruity

Short rib: tender, well cooked, delicious sauce. Overall a great entree!

Paella: we ordered the paella with squid ink and it smelled good and tasted good... HOWEVER the rice was undercooked and crunchy. We let our server know and he mentioned that "this is how it's done in Barcelona and to ask for it to be cooked more next time when we order if we like our rice softer." I kindly disagree! I don't think anyone should be served undercooked rice. I would feel differently if we weren't met with an excuse. Anyways, a good beginning of the meal and the end of the meal left us wanting paella somewhere else.

Once seated, everything was flawless. Each dish was beautifully presented, bursting with flavor, and crafted with care. The service was also impeccable—special compliments to the three ladies who served us on the upper dining level. They were attentive, friendly, and added a lovely personal touch to the evening.

To avoid any inconvenience, I highly recommend booking in advance. Casa Amàlia is absolutely worth it for anyone seeking outstanding food, excellent service, and an elevated dining experience!

I visit here every year, the food just keeps getting better. Great food, made from fresh products that are sold at the nearby market.
Like home-cooked food at my mother's, when at my grandmother's, it's amazing. I definitely recommend it and I'll definitely come back.
So many appetizers, starters and main courses. I've tried almost everything, nothing has disappointed. That feeling when you leave satisfied because the food was amazing!
