We absolutely loved this restaurant and found it was 100% worth the price. We got the tasting menu with the wine pairing - everything was amazing and the wines they paired with the dishes were delicious.

Their attention to detail is impeccable. The smallest spill or crumb would be immediately cleaned up, and the service felt like a formula 1 pit stop. Everything was perfectly orchestrated and smooth.

Even though this is a high end restaurant, it did not feel uncomfortable or posh to us. The staff was very friendly and chatty and willing to explain all the foods to us.

The entire experience lasted us about 3 hours and included 18 amazing courses. Each course was unique and creative and something we had never tried or experienced before. At the end they gave us a copy of the menu as a keepsake which we really appreciated since we didn’t really know what most the food even was.

We cannot recommend this restaurant enough. It is definitely worth the price as it is a full high end, luxury experience.

What a wonderful and yet indescribable experience!!!

This restaurant is truly one of the best I’ve ever visited. From the moment you walk in, you feel enveloped in a cozy and inviting ambiance finish. Also with perfect songs to make your moment nicer!

I can’t also highlight enough how much the staff are simply wonderful!, Friendly, and genuinely welcoming.

Now… The food? Holy moly! Everything is perfectly and geniusly crafted. It’s so well balanced, and yet still exotic and innovative!In our tasting menu, so many well known dishes were taken into a completely new level. You can definitely feel the passion in every bite.

If you’re looking for a place with both perfect food and a heartwarming atmosphere, this is it. I can’t recommend it enough! We are very thankful to all of the staff, the chef and the owner for all of the hospitality and the most amazing experience we had in many years.

Most of the dishes we had from the tasting menu were overwhelming with flavor. That's usually a good thing, but in this case it they felt unbalanced. The flavors were too strong even in the snack bites.

They also asked for tips at the end of the meal. This didn't even happen at much better restaurants (higher price point/other Michelin-starred) in Barcelona.

I got a mild case of food poisoning about 6 hours after my meal here.

Overall, the food is one of the most delicious I have ever had, very innovative and fresh. The service was excellent as well, a lot of attention to detail.

However, after our dining experience, everyone in my group who drank wine here got very bad food poisoning that has lasted them over 24 hours (fever, chills, nausea, diahhrea, vomiting). The two members of our group who chose not to drink wine were perfectly fine.

Additionally, we found a hair in the fig dessert dish, but we understand that happens from time to time.

Overall, enjoyed the dining experience a ton but the aftermath was beyond terrible.

- Probably one of the most memorable meals I've had in Barcelona.  All the dishes were creatively executed and beautifully presented.  You can immediately tell their ingredients were freshly sourced & curated that made each plate into a colorful piece of art.

- Initially I wished the portions could be bigger, but then remembered they're tapas. (Each dish was that good and each of it ended too soon!)

- As the name states, the indoor space is a bar restaurant with a smart-casual but warm vibe.  With hints of wooden furniture/shelves, various warm lighting elements, a long countertop bar, somewhat a busy crowd (since it's fully booked) but circulation wasn't a problem.

- Great place for an intimate date night with a social setting.  Unless if it's with a friend/colleague, I would prefer the bar area (More casual and interactive).

This is a 1-star Michelin restaurant so a prior table reservation is advised.  I highly recommend this to anyone who is planning a visit to Barcelona.  I myself would definitely come back to try their other dishes (and wine pairing) since their menu is seasonal.  Overall, Mont Bar does not dissappoint. *Big Applause*
