I recently stayed at the SLS Hotel in Barcelona and was thoroughly impressed by the experience. The design is modern and stylish, with a vibrant atmosphere that perfectly matches the energy of the city. The staff were exceptionally friendly and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable. The rooftop pool and bar offered stunning views of the Mediterranean, especially at sunset. Rooms were spacious, clean, and well-equipped with luxury amenities. The location is ideal, close to the beach and within easy reach of the city's main attractions. Highly recommended for both leisure and business travelers!

I would like to share my bad experience to accor members
These are the problems I discovered while staying at this hotel for 4 nights(01/April to 05/April) on my honeymoon.

1. Price
If you want to stay at this hotel, I don't think it's a good idea to book through Accor because the SLS website price is cheaper than Accor's price.

2. No Accor membership benefit
The SLS Barcelona team does not take care of the Accor benefits. As a platinum member, I requested a room upgrade via email before my trip and they said they would try to do so, but on the day of check-in, no one knew about the email and they took it for granted and guided me to the basic room. After checking in, I requested again and they promised to upgrade me the next day but not the first day. The next day, I wasted time waiting to change room whole day and they said could not upgrade me.
And another anecdote is that we couldn't get the welcome drink due to an accor app error. It was their mistake, but they didn't want to take responsibility.

3. False service information
The reason I chose this place was because they said there was a complementary shuttle bus to the city, but when I got there and checked, they said there was no such service. This is a complete scam. They have now deleted the information about that service from the site, but I still have a screenshot of it.

They completely ruined a newlywed's honeymoon with these problems.

Despite these problems, they refuse to take any responsibility. I think their building is good enough to be considered 5-star, but the service is not even 3-star.

And the incinerator next door is so noisy in the morning and smells bad at night.

Before you book this hotel, I hope you read my review and think about it more carefully.

the hotel is very nice and luxurious, it’s in a great location near the marina where my yacht is. also, the rooms are very luxurious and big as well as clean and updated. the hotel is expensive but you do get what you pay for. Please make this hotel your next vacation spot!

SLS and the staff were amazing. David took excellent care of us and made it feel like home. Great recommendations for food and things to do inside town. The main beach is a  25 min walk away. Super easy! Would definitely stay again

The SLS Barcelona is undoubtedly a luxurious and posh hotel – the design, ambience, and overall aesthetic truly live up to the high standards you'd expect from a premium property. The rooms are stylish and comfortable, and the staff are courteous and helpful.

However, it was quite disappointing to discover that all three pools were closed during our stay, as was the spa. What made it more frustrating was the complete lack of prior communication about these closures – no mention on the website or during the booking process. When you're booking a high-end hotel, especially one known for its poolside experience and wellness amenities, this kind of information is crucial.
