Probably the best meal I had in Zermatt. Great service and food. The pumpkin soup has a touch of sweetness with a roasted shrimp on the side. Nice and tender seabass and veal. Everything excellent.

One of the best meals I’ve ever enjoyed at a restaurant. Best experienced in front of the open flame grill where you can feel really feel the warmth. No sweaters necessary!

During our recent trip to Zermatt, we had the pleasure of dining at Le Gitan eatery, and it was a great experience. The food was absolutely delicious, with each dish crafted to perfection. The cheese fondue, made with local cheeses, was a highlight, offering a rich and creamy taste that we thoroughly enjoyed. The burrata appetizer was uniquely prepared and incredibly flavorful.

Service by Gonçalo was excellent; he went above and beyond to ensure we had a great dining experience. The mountain weather was refreshing and pleasant, allowing us to sit outside. As the evening grew late and cooler, Gonçalo thoughtfully provided a blanket to keep us warm, adding a cozy touch to our meal.

We also tried a local red wine that was an absolute hit, complementing our dishes perfectly. The main courses were outstanding—each item, from the pasta with lobster tail to the pork, chicken, and fish, was freshly prepared and bursting with flavor.

The food was great, the staff here really friendly.
We ordered the prawn, the snail, and the lamb rack. I love the flavors in the warm starters. The lamb is served with 2 different cuts, grilled beautifully.
The restaurant is very welcoming and cozy. We had a great time here.

Fantastic place, ambience nice and cosy, but not old fashioned. We had a fantastic steak and I had the lamb fillet/chops. Started with the "standard" green salad and ended with cheese and a panna cotta. With the fantastic wine suggestion.. we really enjoyed our evening.
