Excellent service,  food (even smaller portions available), fresh veg (not frozen), good pricing too. Only accepts cash which isn't a problem,  but you can't pay for food at the bar as its separate from the pub.  All round excellent.

Have been in the bar several times and found the staff and customers very friendly so was looking forward to having lunch there.On arrival my wife and I sat at a table for 2,that's when we became invisible. A waitress who was talking to a customer for quite a few minutes glanced in our direction a few times, must have saw we were waiting to be served, but didn't come near, very disappointing.

Been a few times for breakfast and lunch. Both are excellent quality and value for money. We usually go on a Sunday for a roast dinner or steak pie, the portions are very generous and it's always been delicious. The staff are very friendly and service is quick. We'll be back soon.
